Who would effect them more if they lost them ??
Witten
witten. he's a dependable go-to guy for romo. since he is also on the o-line, he's a great blocker as well.
T.O although a constant distraction and headcase is infact an excellent WR and one of the best all time. Comes up with some huge plays at times. That being said someone like Witten, a really good Tight End I think ultimately is more important to winning then a headcase superstar WR.
I pick Witten
Ps. Fuck the cowgirls, and I really could careless though lol
A good TE is hard to come by...Witten would be a huge loss
Dallas did not become a threat to win every week until Romo came in and Parcells left. Combination of both was a good thing for Dallas fans.
So I say Romo. Otherwise we have another "Bledsoe" running the offense.
Well yea, a QB is always the most important postion...but that wasn't an option
Here is the thinking behind this question..All the time Jerry Jones is bending over for TO.. But why?? when Witten , I think, is more important to the team...
I had to vote whitten.... hes on my fantasy team LOL (and he never lets me down either)
Witten just picked up a first down. don't know that stats, but in my perception, Witten probably has the most first downs for the cowboys.
Witten is Romo's security blanket and roommate on road trips. Without Witten, Romo's performance will decline.
My bad on giving my insight on Romo. For some reason I did not notice the poll. Given the 2 choice I agee with the majority thus far.
Witten TD .... am I proveing my point ??
when ever the cowboys lost T.O in the last 3 games of the season Romo only had one touchdown pass out of three games, so I would say T.O is a much bigger lost than witten.
TO was bad ass when he was with the eagles... he isn't the same any more...
I say drop that whole shitty team and its bug-eyed owner off a cliff and see who it effects the most.
you okay there? did Jerry Jones show up at your house and beat the sh!t out of your dog? I couldn't even wish that on the Patriots. Tom Brady is healthy competition. it's a different game without certain teams. heck, NFL wouldn't be fun without the Raiders, but Al Davis probably does need to step back in the organization.
 :lmao:  sorry ill leave this thread :)
did anyone see him after last weeks game .. he talked like he was on The God Squad ..
A miffed Terrell Owens added another layer of the bizarre when he declined to take any questions after the game and spoke briefly of his faith in God before leaving the podium. Never mind he scored on a big, 57-yard touchdown reception, one of only two catches he had all day, and had tears in his eyes on the sidelines afterward. Go figure
I thought for sure you'd have Romo as a choice -
because that is the real answer.......however, of these two, it's very clear to me that it would affect them much more if TO was lost somehow....by far.
I'll compare Shockey and Witten. The Giants did just fine with Boss in there last year after Shockey went out. I'm sure Dallas has some relatively 'decent' 2nd string tight end to pick up the slack as TO runs into the end zone.
jason witten by far, while TO is a great distraction and is pretty damn good, witten consistantly puts up fabulous numbers and is a pro bowler for a reason
T.O is a future hall of famer. hes one of the best WR the league has seen. T.O is a great blocker, a player that gets double and triple teamed (opening up the field for other players), has great run after the catch average and is a huge playmaker.
losing T.O would be a huge loss. with his loss players like witten wouldnt make all the plays they do.
Witten has commented on that. but Witten is a great blocker too. Madden may sound like an idiot, but he's football smart. every time Madden is the sportcaster for a Cowboys game, he talks about how he'd have Witten on his team, that does mean something. i do agree that TO is all that, but i believe that Witten is more reliable....and that could be because T.O. is double-tripled teamed....but TO has a horrible time of dropping balls, which is expected, so i don't make too big of a deal about it.
T.O. would be a bigger loss, far bigger for the simple fact that he is able to stretch defenses which keeps the other team honest unable to stack the line and stuff the run.
Witten, albeit an awesome TE, is essentially just a spare offensive lineman when not involved in the play call.
If you can't stretch the secondary you will not be a very succesful team.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand on that note. That worthless ass wasted blowjob pacman jones got in trouble AGAIN last night. That guy needs to be lock away in a box forever. Hes a huge pile of shit.
FUCK the cowgirls.... I give a rats ass who they loose...
thats what I mean .. You hardly ever see Jason drop a pass and never hear him complain about how many he gets thrown his way.. Im sure with JJ big $$$$ he could get another WR that could take the double teams and not have all the drama as TO.. Just wait and see what happens if Dallas looses another game or 2...
i remember when it was first reported that TO was coming here, and you're right, most fans will like Dallas more if TO was gone. Jerry said he was brought here to make plays...to get us to the playoffs, or maybe it was the superbowl, i can't remember exactly what Jerry said, but it was along those lines. has TO been making the plays? yeah, but he drops a lot of balls. was he an important reason we made it to the playoffs? Most ppl will say Romo got us there, i agree...but idk. He's going to retire soon...maybe 2-3 more years. Crayton isn't going to be a big time playmaker. Some other WR will be coming in soon, and he will probably eclipse TO here in Dallas. Just have to wait until then.
I guess we dont have to ask if Dallas would be better off without PACMAN Jones since he is trying so hard to get himself kicked out of the NFL...
