I don't have the time to look it up so hopefully some of you brainiacs can answer this.
120"x72"x22" pool holds how many gallons? It's only filled to about 3/4.

Is it a oval, rectangle, or square?
Give me the full spec's. In Feet!
Also have to take into consideration shallow end, deep end, shit like that.
I would think 7-8 gallons should cover it.
are you going to fill the pool with miracle whip?
My pool is 32 ft long, 16 feet wide, has an 8 foot deep end and a 3 foot shallow end with a slope and its 32,000 gallons. I have no idea how they figured that out though... Of course thats a much larger scale
i smell a jello filled pool on the way..... that can be the only reason for this thread........... boobs and jello, gods gift to all
We'll need pics & vids!
i vote for stang 5 o2002's avatar.... lets see em man
can somebody convert gallons to jars of miracle whip?
i wanna see some orange jello personally
pudding
The calculation for a rectangle pool is: ((Shallow end depth + deep end depth) / 2) * length * width) = pool volume in cubic feet
Pool cubic feet * 7.5 = gallons of water the pool holds except in Oklahoma where the answer is a bunch.
Tecumseh is where ol Sarge's people come from so I can make fun of myself can't I? All us Okies do.....
ls1.com sucks at math
I thought the answer "a bunch" was a real good 1st approximation for an Okie......
I'm going to list these responses on the "0rion's smart scale". If I don't list your nick then you fall somewhere in the middle.
Einstein----Sarge-----a bucket of whale shit------NHRA/Supercharged tie
Thanks sarge.
Math?
And we gots Hi Po the resident Porn star...so who needs math?
Yup...what I figured.
the guys here know how to find a nekkid chick farting into a cake but 2+2 stumps the shit out of 'em.
We know coils dont give us 200RWHP I can tell you that for fucking sure :)
Whats her number? Are we still talking about your mother in law?
HI-PO you crack me up: the pools dimensions he gives come to:
10' x 6' x 1'-10" = approx 109.998 cubic ft or 110 cubic ft
if 3/4 or 75% of that 110 cubic ft pool is filled, that comes out to be roughly 82.5 cubic ft filled...
if someone knows how many gallons of water it takes to fill one cubic foot (12" x 12" x 12") then one can roughly multiply it by 82.5 cubic ft to get the answer...
to answer the question, one cubic foot of water = 7.48 gallons. 7.48 x 82.5 cubic ft comes to roughly = 617 gallons of water...
someone feel free to check my math, i suck at number crunching...:ughlaugh:
I googled her...holy shit...I see what you mean!

Sounds like a big kiddy pool. 617 gallons 1 pint and a smidgen. :thinking
A couple of good squirrelly Doogie Houser's laying in the bottom of the pool takes op a certain volume of water. Every pool has a few nice turds in it, right?
this thread certainly had potential at one point for a bunch of people to chime in and show off their abilities at math......instead I get Sarge and the bumpkins talking cake farts, pee, and miracle whip. I guess it's really my own fault for trying to be optimistic. :D
Well....this isnt www.dostupidfuckingmathproblemsforOrion.com
I also see someone picked up a new nickname....Lightning Larry. :lmao:
Stevie sez your pool will hold ljzyrvo;97/pc anrc of water Orion.
hey hey hey, i had the correct answer first darn it
I gave the formula first
i did my math in my head, country style
new math problem......... 3 packs of smokes = 11.60........ i smoke 2 packs a day...... how much am i spending per year????
assuming you're talking about a rectangular pool and all numbers are accurate as inches and not feet, then it sounds like you have.....
Tank Volume = 822.9 Gallons
$7.74 on the two packs per day.
You're killing yourself for a modest $7.74 a day. or $54.18 a week or $232.98 for an average month or $2795.69 per year.
oh, and if your pool is 3/4 full then it's abuot 617 gallons, but that was already covered.
172" x 72" x 22" = 190,080 cubic inches.
1 cubic inch = 0.00432900433 US gallons
So, take 190,080 cubic inches, and multiply by that ridiculous fraction and get: 822.8571430464 gallons full.
Hmmm, that seems like an aweful lot. Maybe I screwed up somewhere?
Now you said that it's at 3/4 capacity. So take new stupid big number (822.8571430464) divide by 4, then multiply by three and get: 617.1428572848 gallons at 3/4 capacity
Actually it's more like $2,822.67 for smokes.
$11.60/3packs = $3.86.../pack x 2packs = $7.733.../2packs x 365/diay (no leap years) = $2,822.66... spent/year on smokes. Wasteful habit if you ask me. And yes I used to smoke. Quit cold turkey 3 years ago after 35 years of hacking lungs up. Never felt better in my life.
Lot's of mods right there up in smoke.
