I am a Devils fan all the way back to 1988 ("have another donut you fat pig")
so I am pulling for the NJD all the way including all my bets/playoff pools.

The funny thing is that Brodeur wouldn't be anything without Roy since he idolized/copied him.

The one thing that Brodeur has going for him is that he isn't such a cocky arrogant prick like Roy. :lol:

I used to watch a fair amount of hockey at one time. I rooted for St Louis back when they had curtis joseph, hull, and shanahan. Been a while back. I still watch the playoffs every year but don't follow it close enough to keep track of everyone. I'd say out of those I'd probably pull for the Capitals because I used to use them on the playstation 10-12 years ago. :D

I'm just a big fan of Brodeur lol True that Brodeur idolized Roy, but I think its a stretch to say that Brodeur wouldn't be anything without him. I think he owes more to the defensive play of Scott Stevens, Ken Daneyko, and Scott Niedermayer over the course of his career.

Brett Hull was an incredible player.

Seeing as my team (Islanders) shit the bed this season, I'm going for the Devils to beat the Rangers (I can't f'in stand the Rangers).

Beyond that series, I'd like to see the Cup come back to the East this year, but I really don't feel that is going to happen.

If I had to pick a team for the playoffs, I'd go either Washington (I like Ovechkin better than Crosby) or Montreal.

Sakic appears to still be money in OT. Damn.

I would like to see the Devils win. I believe Brodeur is a future hall of famer along with Stevens.

Well, I'm not gonna try and be nice, but I stand Gomez...whether when he was on the Devils and now infinity times more than that he's on the Rags.

I watch the Devils when the Isles aren't playing and I love hearing Gomez get booed every time he touches the puck at the Rock...which by the way is an AWESOME arena.

I think Boston just knew exactly how to play them and had the right personnel. I don't really think philly can get past them as long as Price stays healthy. I also find it REALLY FUCKING HARD to ever like the flyers. I just can't. Hate 'em.
