I HAD on of these in my younger years. (I know flame away) They are neons and they are gay but you can make them pretty quick cheaply. 1300 bucks for a stage 2 kit will get you into the 12's.

I had the car and did it but I have moved on and will be starting on my new LS1 very soon.

Not a bad DD if you can take the heat, or do what I did and put a few bucks into it and shut people up. I hurt some feelings with that car. Good luck.

main reason its slow (13.8) it has no traction..at all, mine is bone stock, thoes are stock numbers, a stock ta has triple the traction as an srt-4, ive seen 3 or 4 people that have put slicks on a bone stock srt-4 and ran 12.6's all day long.... and its not pink... lol.. that cam is :gay: just like some of you for haten... its flame red, not flame like some of you.. but flame as in burn ur ls1 asses. (cough with slicks cough cough..), mines decent fast, i through on some nitto neo gen tires... Dodge only gave the srt-4 a damn 6in wide wheel... so 205's are pushing it. i put on 215/45/17's and it hooks 1st as long as i dont dump it in anyway., and 10k meaning it went a equal 2k past the 8k, like pointing stright down., you dump your ls1 in 1st gear at 100mph and see what your tack reads? although you WILL tow it back home.. youl then believe me. FTW pre broke rods. :)

Trapping 110 in a bone stock srt-4...that's a load of shit. If you trapped 110 there's a few mods on your neon that you don't know about. Other then that nice car..

So your lt1 is the only one in the history of the world to run at 110mph? Its called lack of traction. There is more to your 1/4 mile time than just an E.T. There is also trap speed and everything else before it at the beginning of the track. From a roll that trap would crush any lt1 from the factory.

All I said was a SRT 4 is not going to pull off a 12 anything STOCK with drag slicks. The fastest stock SRT4 with a drag slick being its only mod I've ever heard of was a 13.1. and I've looked A LOT.
