snowmen and spray paint...

Helped the boy build a snowman today which is read as I built the snowman while he fiddle farted around in the snow. I didn't have a decent hat so I used one of my old hats....at least he's an SEC snowman. :D After getting this thing upright finally I started putting the furnishings on. Had the boy round up arms so he got the sticks, nabbed a couple bricks of charcoal for the eyes and nose ( although the nose fell out and I didn't catch it before the pic), and got to the mouth and buttons. Now there's no way in hell I'm using half my charcoal on a snowman for a mouth and buttons. Solution: Crylon. Spray paint works surprisingly well on a snowman. I damn near took the black and sprayed him a tux on but decided against it. Aren't those lips the most red lips you've ever seen???? Same color as my brake calipers. :D

after he finished up I explained the difference between regular snow and yellow snow. Which one was safe to eat and which one wasn't. That's just stuff you have to teach a boy. :D

I almost forgot the best part of the entire snowman day.....after I got the head on and was putting the eyes and stuff on my boy came up and said " We should put boobs on it's back and make it a woman snowman". I started laughing and said " Na, our snowman is a boy and besides women don't have boobs on their back......I wish they did though."

I think he's stand up comic material at some point. He has several innocent 1 liners a day it seems. I'm not gonna harp on him because I don't like it when others do but the kid keeps me laughing most of the time. He just says and does some funny stuff daily.

a guy I work with said he was at a public pool swimming with his 2 boys. The youngest one which was 6 at the time, saw a pretty girl walking by and whlistled at her then dunked under the water making it look like his dad did it. :lol:

about 2 weeks ago I stopped into where I used to work to see everyone. I was a cut up there and always had a smart remark for pretty much everyone. There was one guy in particular that I used to mess with all the time. Real cool guy and always had a comeback of his own. He's a big guy and real loud. My boy is real shy around strangers usually so when that guy came in the break room I figured Zach would hide under the table. I had just put some candy in a coffee cup for Zach to eat on while we were there visiting. The guy comes up and me and him exchange some smart remarks in fun and he looks at Zach and reaches for his candy cup and says "Gimmee that candy boy". Zach looks at him for a minute and I'm figuring he's gonna cry or something then he says " I'll kick your ass". Out of nowhere. Everyone in the break room started dying. I was telling my wife about it over the phone later and when I hung up Zach looked at me real serious and said " Did you tell mommy I said a bad word?" I just laughed and said yeah and he said "Oh." real serious.
