Now I have to figure out what will be the next keg. My wife favors stouts or porters, I like those as well. We drink ~case per week, and this will be much cheaper and better.

Quit spanking lol! Yeah, well, I did the math and at $35/case for Alpha King, I get a half barrel for $150. That is like buy 4.5 cases, get two free. A half barrel is 6.875 cases.
Wife quit work to stay home and raise our two kids (2.5 and 5 years old) and we need to spend money wisely.
