Just curious what people have named their F-Bodies. I know the post has been around a back a bunch of times but I am way too lazy to find the thing and sift through all the GTOs and Vettes to find the Camaro and Bird talk...
I have had my SS for over a year now and still have not been able to come up with a solid name... I know it is obviously a female, just cant decide...
Let me know what you all have named yours, and any ideas for mine...
Thanks.
if i called it, it wouldn't come anyway. so - no, no name. (also, my coffeemaker, tv, hair dryer and telephone would be jealous...)
mine is called "THE MONEY PIT" because I keep modding and modding and modding. Cam, heads, intake and tb are next up
I usually call mine..."that black thing over there"... or... the..."it's not a Trans Am"... sometimes I might even call it..."that thing that kicked your a_s"...
as for names... my friends have thought of many...most of them Clitche's... like... "Import Exporter" or "The Beast"... I just call it what it is... "my bad ass LS1 Camaro"
the greatwhite z
it is what it is
I had a few names for my car once when I went to open the door with the remote, battery was so completely dead locks wouldn't work and had to use my key to get in....
my wife and i call it the hawk when refering to it
I have called it "sorry POS" several times when its not cooperating during wrench time.
I havent had the car very long, but im leaning towards Brutus. Its got way too much attitude to be female.
Sheila, the fire crotch! I don't know why, but it just stuck when my buds called my Camaro my bitch!
mines a green V-6 with an attitude problem, so i have a hard time calling it something nice
my kids refer to it as "The SS"
Blackula
carmen
zoe
SheBadd...that's what's going on my plates in a couple weeks =)
Cami - considering the chameleon paint and Camaro.. it just fit (yes i know the paint is not called chameleon)
"The Blue Pearl"
I've adopted the name my wife gave it..."My Mistress"! At least she knows where the money is spent.
Mine tag is "Thunda". That exhaust make you know the why for the name
The name of my car is Faith (i have faith that it will run) but i dont call it that.. i usually call it the SS or maro.
I think I have to call my car Grace because it is one of my favorite names...
Though the car has no grace by any means when it is shaking windows as it drive by any building...
They should all be named faith...I'm amazed everyday how reliable and fuel efficient these cars really are. I just made the mistake minutes ago and sat in a 08 6.2L 6speed Vette that a guy here at work just picked up...Holy shit! I can't wait for the new Camaro...please Chevy don't dissappoint with the SS...

i dont call mine this but all my buddies call it fireball
Hugger Orange is a friggin awesome color dude... If I had my choice, it was Sunset Orange Metallic, or Hugger Orange all the way... BUT My Dad bought the SS originally and Pewter was his choice, and I am obsessed with it now...
Plus, Hugger Orange is similar to the Orange you will find be represented by the Chicago Bears... Yet another reason to like it!!!

Dude, my wife and I simply refer to my Camaro as "The Z."
"the beast" seems to be a recurring name, i think ive called mine that a time or two. ive called it whore before when it pissed me off
I seem to remember, when my Dad owned the car, "The Beast" and "Whore" were common names...
I have not really had the opportunity to do much work on since he gave it to me, but I'm sure I will curse it worse then a Bears game...
Midnight...she's navy blue metallic with all black accents and looks mean as shit at night
"The Bitch" plain and simple. Don't cross her.
:lol:Quote:

Dude, I remembered that I also call The Z "The Car-maro"; a sort of blending of "Car" and "Camaro."
Casper....
FuriousGeorgs... You should call it Papa Midnight, like the badass from the movie Constantine... sweeeet...
I think someone just called my car... BLACKBIRD Z... LOL... just like the anime/racing game Wangan Midnight/Maximum Tune... too bad that the Blackbird in that series is a Porsche and later is a 350Z... :sillyme:
So a few days ago i was at a Sonic drive in, had some high school kids drooling over my car. then later at work i walked the new people outside after close, they saw me walk to my car, i was proud of course, then the one girl, in a ditzy voice was like "wait, isnt that a camaro?" i said hell yeah. her reaction was "oh...ok" and walked away.
I died a little inside.
'The Camhoe'
or 'The Z'
LOL... ouch man... I know that feeling oh too well :brick:Quote:

Lets face it, we drive the last of the breed, a car that has direct DNA to the "good-ole-days", and even better runs good enough to prove it. so what if its not modern day "cool". I dare you, sit in it, crank it up and listen to that V-8 Chevy music. Now THATS cool....
I couldn't agree more...
I will give my respect to a Mustang because of the simple fact that is a watered down American Muscle... But I cant turn myself to liking that very hollow, higher pitched, exhaust sound, with a body that does not scream DRIVE ME by any means...
You fire up a Camaro and feel the seat rumble under you with that low, throaty 5.7 Liters of American Muscle, nothin sounds better. The front end has eyes and a snout that damn near scare you, has a sound that could make children cry, and oozes history, tradition, and raw power out of its sleek design and bone chilling growl...
I usually reffer to mine as " yeah, thats my slow POS over there.." I love how our cars just look like they are moving faster than a mustang could ever go, even when they are parked. (which is usually in spots that i dont think people have parked in for the last 10 years, i park so far away haha)
hey bro i dont wanna be a dick, but get yourself a real camaro, then it wont matter what any bitch says female or male for that matter all that counts is if you love it who gives a shit,Quote:

i guess that came out wrong.. here i go again sorry
you should go get a v8 camaro when you can, and then do exactly what was said above by rikki,,
hope that fixes how much of an asshole thing i just said,
sometimes i come across as a big asshole, prick or stuck up, but really my intentions are good, sorry that came out wrong and goood luck with your camaro, im sure you love it just as much as anyone else in here with a v8,
Angel a.k.a "fallen angel"
sorry to hate on a camaro brother, you have my applogies and earned respect
We've all the statement that's even worse than that: "Oh...they don't make those any more do they?" I truly hate it when people say that, at least we have the new Camaro coming out soon, and we'll never have to hear that again!
until it dies out again anyways which probaby wont be for awile, at least if they make the v6 model inexpensive and reliable
:Ot: thats get back on it.
mine is called doom It's not a guy or a girl, it's a beast lol. I woudln't name your car after a girl, too many people do that.
Vinny.
i am with Slim...
Bitch... sorry ladies :zoom:
"soon to be parted out cause I'm tired of you"
He's done a hell of a job, but it's time to move on.
p.s. it must be slow if you give it a chick name. . . :wall:
"the T/A" that the only name its ever been called
ive been saying my 3 ladies for well couple months it was my two ladies, and a long time a go my ladie,
my girlfreind back in the day used to hate it when i called my car the ladie and her the tramp, someone at a party would ask me so you brought the ladie and left the tramp hhaah lol

i was driving a mint condition 95 Buick Lesabre, an old lady drove it to church and back, so as of june of 06, it has 34k miles, no one had ever been in the back seat, still had the new car smell. my grandad was obsessed with it.
so a few months ago he basically bought the 95 V6 camaro, with 75k miles on it, and asked to trade with me, insurance on it was only 110 a month, same gas mileage, so took the offer.
thats only been 3 months ago, but when i finish college, hopefully in 2 years, ill prob buy an LS1
your fine man...any f-body is better then no f-body.Quote:
