Its a "reverse condensation handprint" (i made that up).
When your hand(warm) touches the cars metal or glass(cold) your hand warms up the car where you are touching it, and the area immediately next to it. Now, when it is cold outside, and the humidity is high, the heating of the car draws a small amount of moisture out of the air, to stick to the car. This is where the overall condensation comes from.
Now, as for the "strange shapes". These are the "reverse" images in the condensation... Where your skin was actually contacting the car, no moisture could build up, because it has to come from the air, but couldn't because your hand was there. So there will be dry metal surrounded by moist metal, with an outline of your hand. Now, once you pull your hand away, this dry area becomes exposed to the air, and draws the moisture from it... and at the same time, the areas of moisture furthest away from where your hand was will be receeding as they cool back down.
So, what this looks like, is the handprint filling up from the inside, while shrinking from the outside. The last areas to "fill up" will be the spots your hand was pressed against the hardest. Now, stop for a moment, and take a look at your hand. Obviously, your finger tips are going to protrude farther then the joints, and at the bottom of your hand, there is the distinct "butt" shape. Now, look even closer, there are spots above the palm that protrude because of your knuckles. And finally, the pad on the pinky side of your hand protrudes further than any other part of the hand around the palm... this is also the section of your hand use to support yourself with.
Now, lets look at the pic again. Lets use FSANES version, because he outlined it very nicely for us. At the top, are the fingertips, then we move down the the "chili-pepper eyes" which are actually our knuckle extrustions, and then the funny "L" shape, which is actually the pad of your hand leading into the butt of your hand, and even left a nice "ass-print" at the bottom there. And of course, since the thumb mark is off to the right, that would make it a left handed print. Which, considering 90% of americans are right handed, it would make logical sense that this guy was supporting himself with his left hand, but using his right hand to take the picture of the scoop. Also, when you take into consideration that Fieros are fucking tiny, the handprint isn't REALLY that big.
Ok, I win. You naysayers lose. Period. End of Disscussion. Science > All.
