If both drivers are good, the cobra is gonna win every single time. I doubt ur gonna find a lot of people who are gonna disagree with me.
The Cobra will win. The fact that you're a bone stock A4 just makes it worse.

for as many people that say they have beaten manuals in their autos i can say the reverse. this is irrelevant. be honest about it, if a manual is shifted spot on and very quickly, it will accelerate quicker with the proper gearing.
If you want my honest Best ET bone stock, 12.9.......BONE STOCK.........no ram air hood or anything...........BONE STOCK..............I bought the car with one mile on it and two weeks later took it to the strip..........I will try and find the time slips.....and post them!
Like i said racing with a A4 isnt as fun as it used to be, when i had my old T/A a4 right before i sold it racing had become so boring, because racing was just hit the gas and dont let off until its over, how fun is that. I admit it was fun at the beginning but after i while it was just the same thing over, Stick challenges you, its your job to make sure your car makes it to the next gear i find it much more challenging and fun. All you auto guys say you cant mess up when a computer is shifting for you, if thats the way you think then why dont you just get a computer that when the light turns green hits the gas and steers down the track for you. You cant have a slow reaction time when the computer hits the gas for you right?
To answer your question if the 03 or 04 cobra driver is good then the cobra will win, the only ford product we really have to look out for. Those cars are tricky to launch and since your a a4 that runs 12s BONE STOCK lol then you should race him from a dig.
Listen i love the LS1 its a great motor 12s are hard to believe but i can. Good for you if you do. My best is a 12.8 my average is 13 flat smetimes touching 12.9s but im not stock, i just love the m6 from a roll and belive it or not i do 80% of my racing from a roll.
I have headers a lid and exhaust. Im lowered and i have rotors and calipers. I dynoed in at 337rwhp and 341rtrq i have almost evenything i need for a cam swap so hopefully ill be pushing like 365-380rwhp.
ah i do hate these threads, admitting that a stang can beat me sucks...
well guess what...they arent there, so fuck em. the only problem is that a shitty driver can pull 12.90s in a cobra. its just a hurdle...no biggie. they are mean cars and there is no shame if you get bested by one. just gives you something to strive towards.
ws6s and ss camaros can and have went 12.90s bone stock with a damn good launch and short times. i dont know how many of those runs were made on street tires, but i know for a fact its been done.
i hear ya about the roll. either i never catch a light or they dont want to go from a dig. i prefer a dig but a roll is cool too.

Why do WS6s and SS run the quarter mile faster than a non ws6 when they dyno in at the same hp and trq? The supension is hardly better the rims are actually heavier.

i know the ws6 hood supposedly makes 1 psi of air going a certain mph. who knows. i dont buy it too much either. im sitting at probably a 13.2 in or around there but i really think that if i throw my drs on and hook damn good i could break 12.99s. i could be totally off though.....
Well i run 13 flat i have hit 12.8 but only once lol and i have 12.9s about 10 times i use street tires im not quite stock.
i just think the driver is overlooked alot when it comes to discussions about et's. you can have minimal mods and pull off insane times. just have to launch right. i have no doubt in my mind that if i had a tq arm i could run 12.90s if i launched well. then again, im a moron so it probably wont happen....
Lol, nah man you can do it. I BELIEVE IN YOU, What do you launch at? I just wanna get slicks and race my friend he has a wrx he like i can do 5500 launchs, so i want slick and launch at 4200 lol. Probablly break my rear end on the second run lol.
First off me and you are just talking on 2 forums for some reason lol, i launch at 3100, and i usually just chirp em and then take off. Are your tires good?

my rubber out back is some all season 275 40 17s.... i can make em chirp and launch decently but the tires fuck me over...it doenst help that i cant slip the clutch to launch too much because the clutch is going.....
i have 315/35s nitto nt555rs but im afraid to launch with them...i dont have a new rear housing laying around right now.....

Just some all season 16s. They are new like i got em put on about 2 weeks ago not even.

Your car is just getting started at 109k lol. I saw a 01 SS with 120k miles get a S/C slapped on at 8psi and it ran fine, it also dynoed in at 309rwhp bone stock with 120k miles on it. LS1 rocks
