DEI would be stupid to leave Chevrolet for the simple fact that the Impala SS Car of Tomorrow is the winningest "model" on the track. Whether we like it or not, the COT is going to be in more races, so it appears.
I don't believe that Toyota will wind up like Dodge, but if they do, Dodge ain't winning much right now anyway. Truck racing and NASCAR Nextel Cup are different, I believe, albeit I don't follow truck races. I believe it would be a cold day in hell before DEI goes ToyMotor.
Far as Jr leaving DEI, I think it would be stupid, but I think Theresa is stupid as well. I don't know either one personally, but really, the both of them is in this for money. DEI is one of the most lucrative teams right now. I wouldn't mind seeing Jr in a Robert Yates machine or even a Evernham machine. Kasey Kahne ain't amounting to much yet, he'd be the perfect combination with Elliot Sadler, my #2 driver.
COT is just that and will be the Cup car in 08 ... I bet JR. could get back on track and start winning if he left DEI.... Im sure he could be doing a lot better if him and Harvick we team mates ...
And remember Theresa is not a ex Driver just someone who got what was one of the best teames in NASCAR ....
No I dont know her, I dont know her anymore or less then you do. But from everything I have heard, shes a real money grubbing bitch. Yes I'm biased because although I'm not a huge nascar fan I always wanted both Dales to win when I would catch a race here and there. I think that Jr is an awesome driver and cool guy. Theresa never drove a race car a day in her life, she widowed the best there ever was and now gets all that came from that. All I'm saying is I can see Jr leaving and wont be surprised when it happens. Do I think he'll go to Toyota? Nah. Hes too american to do something like that.Quote:
