Do you detail your own car or would you rather pay someone else to do it?
I do it with the help of a detail fanatic. :yup:
I didn't get to finish my poll :p
I am just quick...
Voted. :yup:
If it is really nice out I detail it myself, but I'm being lazy this week and paying someone else to go to my house tomorrow while I'm in PA and clean my baby :D
I'm coming out there tonight :slap:
My baby is staying home. The kid who does it is going to be at my house bright and early :yup:
I told you NO! :toetap:
what is a good wax im doing my car thes weekend and i would like to use something real good...it will be the first time i have waxed this car..
I always do mine myself... Need to do it next weekend when I come home... shes real dirty
wash and wax myself. detail work where they get really involved I have a company that i have connections through my old job handle. They do inside and out details that can make the biggest beaters look like brand new cars. If im feeling real lazy I might jus run it through the local car wash though. For 8 bucks it doesnt make me feel that bad.
I do it on the side for extra $$$$
Detail as in polish??? I get it washed once in a while, but that's about it...
Polish...then wax.
i guess i'm just lazy...........
I'll pay TAP to detail my SS!! :yup:
I do it myself! Heck, I never pay anyone to do anything if I know how to do it myself.
do it myself.
ALways do it myself. Meguiar's has been my choice for years. I've seen cars w/Zaino & my cars always look just as good if not better.
i love doing mine .....paid someone to buff mine never again they screwed up some of my paint .....takes being seen in direct sunlight at the right angle but paint is dull in a place guess they burnt the paint ..........funny thing is it looks great in regular light
do it myself. why pay someone else money to do something you are fully capable of doing yourself...?
In the process of doing mine... washed it twice.. then using the 3 step Meguirs process... paint cleaner, polish, and wax... and man are my arms TIRED! I thought a night watching porn was a workout.. Just waiting for the wax to dry.. to buff it out.....
No.. just go to Advance.. the 3 bottles are next to eachother.. they say step 1, step 2, and step 3.... I have now found my new best friends! LOL.. Turned out SPECTACULAR! Just gotta find a way to get rid of the white fuzz from the cotton towels... Can't wait to do it again but Claybar it first.. now that I KINDA know what I'm doing. :D
Its a bar of Clay used to remove all contaminants out of your paint as well as old wax, etc... and start over.
will it come with directions?
Yeah... but expect it to take several hours....
I am a do-it-yourself kind of guy!
I do it myself. Keeps me from having to kill someone if they were to mess something up.
A bottle of Armor All Tire Shine 4.99..Meguiars Quick Wax 6.99...Turtle Wax Leather Softner 12.99...Seeing hot girls check out your WS6...PRICELESS!!
"Its the car.. chicks dig the car..." :D Sorry.. horriable movie reference.. but fitting. :)
I prefer to be the one to make love to mine and the wife's car lol.
I detail my baby so it will turn out just the way I want it. And she stinks of Zaino. ;)
As my wife would tell you, I spent the entire weekend "licking and petting " my car. No one touches my car, but me!
