Convince of what? Death?
my buddy has an SRT4 im gonna show him that.
Some turd at my high school did that in a 97 GT except he killed 3 people too. When he came back a year later he looked "different", not quite the best plastic surgery perhaps. Apparently he learned nothing from killing his best friend and 2 random people, because he had an even more powerful car (LS1 WS6) and I saw him burning out on the way out of the parking lot with a kid standing up in the passenger seat above the roofline (t tops were off).
god dam, almost made me cry, i'm not a crazy driver but when i fuck around this shit could happen i suppose
I always think its a BIG no-no to screw around with other people in the car unless im going less than like 45 mph.
that guy whines too much.
and has a bird neck.
ricer.
karma bro.
No its not. This is blasphemy on this site.
That vid reminds me of Days of Thunder where Robert Duvall explains that Nascar racers dont go to funerals. Not to be insensitive, but if you street race, speed, drink and drive, you know youre taking a chance....but some of us still do it.
I drive a 00 CBR 929 RR and I hate hearing about any sort of bike accident. Just like hearing stories about bike accidents, I dont want to see it.
Thanks for almost making me want to find a rope, razor, or gun.
Damn makes you think a lil:yup:
This is why you dont buy a Neon :ughlaugh:
I didn't see anyone racing.
bad driver
Damn. Sure makes you think. I wonder what caused him to wreck?
yea probably driving like a COMPLETE RICER IDIOT....... im not against street racing, as long as its done right. i am against driving like that kid, especially in a ricer
the docs who did the reconstructive plastic surgery made him look better than he did before, I thought he'd be messed up for life after the accident photos. Those doctors did some incredible stuff.
anyone know if the car is avaliable? good parts car.
Agreed. Its not that were insensitive, its just an obvious consequence of street racing. So some person put the story together, added some music and images. Theres your sob story...now wheres that violin?
was that a dodge or a ram??
zinger^^^
i think the point of the video was to make people aware of the dangers of street racing, but like you said we know the consequences and common sense would assume he knew the consequences.
I am not being sympathetic i thought mods comments were hilarious because of how honest and rude they were
this idiot deserves no sympathy...... :nono:
at least nobody was killed i guess. my friend got a DUI back in october and wrecked his firehawk and we had another friend get killed on a 4 wheeler back in april. nhrafirebird as well as a couple others on this site knew him. while it sucks and no one wants to see a friend go, it boils down to the people behind the wheel, etc. have control of their own actions and if you keep on acting like idiots, something is bound to happen sooner or later. it has with me.
Goes to show.....Rice can be burnt.....
even if it is american.....aka Uncle Bens
Darwinism at its finest. We get a new 'omg, teh srteh is dwn' at least once a month where some moron crashed their SRT-4 while racing...or stories of others doing the same. Interestingly enough, 99% of them are 16-18 years of age. It usually digresses into a 'claim' war where everyone yells out parts of the car they'd like to buy. Insensitive, but after so many years of this, it gets old.
I won't race others if there are peeps in my car, couldn't live with the "what if."
Somebody wants to race, their gonna have to wait til I'm alone...plain n' simple.
Tell ya one thing, that vid is a good advertisement for why you should have a roll cage.
But wearing a seatbelt is the law, and all cars come with seatbelts. Adding a roll cage for every day safety isn't as safe as most assume. Unless it's literally just a roll bar to keep the roof from caving, and not a race cage (for drag or other racing), I suppose that might help. Otherwise, if it is a race cage, it'd only make things worse unless the person was wearing a helmet...and that's not practical for every day driving. In general, obeying the laws of the road will keep you out of trouble like that.
True. I guess my point was, preventing crashes like that should be the focus, not adding additional safety equipment to your car. Some accidents can't be avoided, and that's life...but it seems like 99% of the destroyed SRT-4's are simply due to racing and overall negligence.
BOO HOO, Mommie & Daddy never should of sighned for that death trap,
no pitty here!!!!:hellno:
http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...ork2005011.jpg this happens everyday to everyday people that dont race, this was on my way back from looking at a job. this guy wasnt racing just driving along with his 10 year old son, the son made it but dad did not....
http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...ork2005010.jpg...............................
Yep, some you just can't avoid. RIP =/
yea roll cages can be dangerous if you dont have a brain bucket on...but i dont really feel bad for the kid at all...i was dissapointed when i saw the video i was really looking forward to a race video.... FAIL
should be a shake hands with danger vid.
They have cushioning around them. And there aren't any bars right next to your head. The nearest one would be up and to the left. With a harness and an airbag inflated in front of you, you shouldn't get anywhere near it.
