Received the White Faced Gauges only to find out that the APC box says 99-02. Your sale discription stated that they were for a 98-02 Camaro. Also the gauges are made for a 97 Camaro. I have a 98 Camaro! LS1's have a 6,000RPM redline not 5,7000RPM. WHAT THE FU%& DID YOU SEND ME?. I want my money put back into my Paypal account. After I receive reimbursment I will send you back the gauges.

Listen here brilliant one. That must have been a typographical error, by the person I bought them from because 98-02 are the same thing. Now the rpm gauge is how it should be. Those are for ls1s. It has a digital odometer that I hate to tell you that lt1s dont have. I sold what I said I would, now quit whining.
This is a gauge cluster out of my 97SS.
97 -02 Camaro's had the same style gauge clusters except for the 5,700 RPM REDLINE. You are wrong. My 98 Camaro has a 6,000 RPM REDLINE. Ask anyone on this site what the stock redline for their LS1 is!

while it looks like it's an error from the manufacturer, the best thing to do is return everything back to the rightful owners and relist it with better pictures.
the only real thing i see off is the rpm redline which indicates LT motor redline of 5700 rpms. the check engine light and others just shine through the template. but, i'm not sure of all the placements of the indicator lamps.
if you compare the 97 to the 98 everything is in the same places gauge wise. the two exceptions i see are the redline and the UNLEADED FUEL ONLY written on the 97. yes, the factory symbols won't shine through. that's why the manufacturer added the symbols onto their template. even if you put the white template on the 97 cluster, the SES and other indicators will shine through the white template, but barely. think of it as frosted glass.

all gauges are in the same place. the manufacturer decided what they wanted blocked out. most likely, it's a boxing error from the manufacturer.
again, i'm with the whole return and refund deal. the main thing is the rpm redline is incorrect for 98-02 cars.
When you put the overlay up to the light light shines through on all of the misplaced indicators. So where the light shines through originaly, it will shine through the overlay through the plain white. Once again, it will look like shit.
And for the record, I was wrong at first, well not entirely, but I called the manufacturer and gave them the part # on the overlay and they told me it was designed for 99-02. They even said it would look like shit.
Never buy shit from a new guy is what I say...
well, seeing as the seller listed it for a 98 and the box states 99-02, the seller needs to refund the money.
