Come on, you know theres that one car that you want to take down where ever you live. For me it's an 01 Z-28 with gears and a full exhaust and an 04 GTO with a full exhaust. I hope my new setup is enough to take them down. If not I'm gettin a nice hit of N2O so I can seal the deal. :D
For me its a red LS2 GTO that i see almost everyday at 4am on the highway going to work. I raced him once and he walked me slowly from a roll. I found out my clutch was gone a week later and had a throttle body airleak. I have ordered the parts and am patiently waiting for my second chance at him. I just see him pass next to me every mourning. Cant wait any longer.
There's a few down here; There's a 03-04 Cobra, plate "Why Try"... He's claimed to be pushin' well over 600, but I still want a go at it... And there's a black Diablo VT, earlier model, I'd guess early to mid 90s, I might wait till the bottle goes in for that one though, hell, I'll probably wait for both of them. Ah, plus there's a slew of 600 c.c. bikes that think they're faster than every car on the road-unfortunately I'm still a little afraid of racing bikes, don't want to see my rear end kick sideways and take one out...
Oh man, such a good thread. I talk to my friends constantly about this one kid in a Cobalt SS. Black w/ red stripes and a spoiler (who knows what's under the hood?). He always seems to be going the other way when he's on the road. And it's always parked in this lot by my house when I'm on my way home. I know it's only a Cobalt, but man, I just gotta!

Theres an asshole that drives a dark silver Cobra in town that will pipe ANYONE and EVERYONE at anytime... at lights, stopsigns.. etc. Real cocky piece of shit... but it will be a while before I can even think about going up against that.... :(

there's three for me, a silver 1969 coronet with a built 440, 4.56 gears. A black 1968 barracuda with a 446 tunnel ram, 4.88 gears, and last but not least a black 1955 chevy, with a built 496 and 3.73s (so I heard) also I'm not wanting to race these with my 05 G.T.O. I have a 1966 G.T.O. with a 455 stroked to a 474, 4.33 gears pushing 637RWHP, and that's before I rejetted the carb, (King Demon) and
installing an X pipe, mine runs low to mid 10s, All motor, my best E.T. is 10.31@128mph, I need to figure how to post pics. oh well :Pics: :brick:

LOL...There is a White 04 Saleen Mustang here with the same WHY TRY license plate...Well I did and he saw the back of mine and it fit pretty well NCE TRY...The car I always want a peice of is a Supercharged 96-97ish Mustang that revs up everytime we pass, unfortunately we've never met on the same side of the road.Quote:

for me there's this bitch(excuse my french) who got money from his xgirlfriend running over him. He drives an Acura NSX. He thinks he's in a murcielago or something. I really really really want a peice of him. I almost don't care if the cops are behind me at the light, I want to burn this guy! He talked a bunch of stuff when I owned the 6 in my avator, but now I've got my SS 6spd and a bad attitude towards him hahaha.........I haven't seen him since I got my ss... An old friend who has a 1500 hp Supra, and that's white, but I know track is not his deal.
It may be like kissing your sister, but there is this JERK down the street with a 99 Z28 who's motto is "drive it like you stole it". This guy thinks he's a NASCAR racer everytime he goes out. He revs it to 4 grand a few times getting it in and out of the driveway. Then before he shuts it off, he revs it a few more times. I can always hear him coming and going as he gives it WOT driving through the neighborhood and a few streets over. The car is beautiful and always clean and polished, just the owner is an a$$.:kick:

mine is a honda civic turboed, bearly got me last time(iam in a truck) but now ive got my mods and hunting him, i should easly smoke him, there is also a 97 dodge ram 1500 with a 360 that he says would kick my trucks ass WTF!! ever, and all he has is exhuast and an intake, and iam lighter and ive got alot more mods, and every time i see him he revs but never wants to run he says he "dosnt want to get in trouble for racing" what a pussy!
There is a guy here that rolls around in his GIRLFRIEND's mustang! and he is ALLWAYS bagging on every one and their ride. We were supposed to go out and run, but he stood us up. Its so funny, this guy shows up and trys to "outalk" every one at the parking lot, he even admits to it on his "myspace" page! Lol. Guy is a real clown. The car sounds allright, 5.0 stang that he claims to have "head work" done. Kinda' been my nemesis lately.
Just annoys me, homeboy shows up with his girfriend's car, and pretty much puts on a cape, and does the same song and dance evrey saturday.

two cobras one is an 03-04 orange that i see most every day on my way home from work i always try to run him but he never wants to go. and the second is 97 ish black lots of work, loud as hell too, see him every once and a while but one night we ran he took off on the second honk and by the time started pass him he let off

I have a "rival" whose actually a good friend, after i got my formula he bought an 04 GTO with 3.73 gears, also an auto and our cars have always been really close
... unfortunatly he just installed his magnacharger... but he still has stock exhaust and intake, so that thing has got to be choking on both ends, so i'm gonna install the following

Hopefully it'll be enough to keep up with him until he does his exhaust and intake, and once he does that i'll have to either cam it or spray it... or maybe both....
as for enemies... there is this one 04 silver vert. Cobra and the guy's a clown... he was showing people someone elses dyno sheet of a 675 rwhp car... and saying it was his.. i asked him his mods (and noticed it was the factory supercharger on it still... ) and he said he had.. pulley swap, gears, intake, exhaust, chipped (diablo tuner)and i just laughed. he goes to all the cruise nights and thinks he's the fastest guy around... i can't wait to run him once all my bolt ons are installed...
Don't have any rivals, but there is this kid in a new eclipse gt that i would like to put in his place. The past 2 weekends I was sitting in traffic, i look in the rearview and he is on my a$$, traffic starts to move and he keeps letting off of it then punching it to get right on my bumper. I would love for one time no one to be in front of me. Then there is this guy that lives in the same apartment complex with a 96 Mustang GT with flowmasters, everytime he leaves or comes home he sets in the parking lot revving it up for about 5 minutes. Just annoying.

The main car in my town that all the fast and the furious brainwashed kids worship is a 2004 SRT-4. It has the mopar stage 1 kit, and a k&n typhoon intake, msd ignition, short throw shifter and thats it for performance mods. Hes got a big head after he beat a 67 chevelle with a perty good running 454 in it. He has also beat a 1996 BMW M3 from dead stop to top end.
Him and the fast and the furious crew think that hes got me beat, but it seems like i can never find him around town since ive had my new car more than a week. The mods to my car are long tube headers with no cats runnin into a magnaflow muffler, a slp lid, pro 5.0 shifter, and subframe connecters. Im just waiting on my chance now.

This White 98-02 T/A that's probably sitting on a fat tank of NO2.
I was pulling out of the gas station, somewhat egotistical as I am (what? my car looks pretty fuckin' good lol) I pull out modestly, and he follows me all the way up the road, we turn to get on the hwy and I hop on the gas a bit, get pretty far ahead of him (about 10 cars). I, at this point, pretty much don't consider him much of a threat. (I heard him start it and there was no sounds signalling any sort of mods done to the engine) I look away for about 5 or so seconds and then look back, as he punches the fuck out of his T/A and FLIES past me at well clear of 80 on a 55, from WAY back there. Leaving me there like "Wow, that was pretty cool...". I caught up to him later and flashed the horns, nodding in approval of his T/A. It wasn't an official race, but with that kind of speed, and my current stock rear-end, if we were to line up I'd get dusted in a heartbeat.
Once I change out my rear-end gears I'm going to find him again and show him what's up, but until then, well until then I need to get my cat gutted/replaced so it drives effectively. Then he will be mine! Damn F-Bodies though, seriously, such fast cars lol.
There is a supercharged Saleen with a claimed 415rwhp, never had a chance for a good run but I know where he works.
Also an El Camino that did some ricer fly-by stuff, he'll get his... :)
Almost forgot! There is a SC Mustang (not sure if Cobra) with a big wing and lowered that did some punk ricer driving and wouldn't line up w/ me....

He was completely stock with 4K on the clock, whereas mine is highly modified. That supercharger still sounded good though.
I told him to get some good tires, slap a pulley on it, a little exhaust work, then he will give me a good run for my money.
Honestly, when we lined up and I heard that supercharger, I thought my ass was grass.
The one for me is a guy I work with. Now he isn't a punk kid (we're talking he's in his fifties) who loves Mopars. Anyway he has a Neon that he just finished putting the Stage 3 kit on and is convinced it will go low 12's/high 11's with slicks. Thanks! I'm still getting used to it. I'm ready to start spanking cobras!!! Especially when I get modded between now and next summer. by then I plan to have a catback, cai, orypipe, maybe some headers and a tune! Then I'll be saving up for maybe a cam package. Just takes time and money! over all I want it looking stock but after I lower it and paint it, it will probably give the hint that something is up

i had a 3.4 manual years ago. all stock it went 16.9. after flowmaster, under drive pulleys, k/n and computer reprogram, it went 16.3. i could kick a few 3rd gen rs camaros with a the 305 TBI/auto with 2.73 gears cars out there. they went 17.4 stock.
ah, the glory days of sub 17 second runs. 3.4 liters of FURY!!!!
yea their extremely slow, my friend got magnaflow and K&N cold air intake, and i raced him with my stock 3.8L firebird and i still killed him so bad, plus now his sounds like a ricer when he reves it up

I don't think it is a 03/04 as I have not heard any whine from it.
Car sounds great, and he makes sure I hear it anytime he drives by.
Car was a good looking car...until he decided to have a large snake painted on the front of the car.
I think it is mostly appearance mods. Car has the new Cobra look, but it is missing something to be a 03/04 looks wise. I just can't place it.
Always seemed like a decent guy though...always returns waves.

03 Cobras have a real square looking front end, and a black valence between the tailpipes, along with a MUCH cooler gapless spoiler.
There's this young kid that lives in Wilkes Barre that has a black LT1 Z28. He's all cocky and posts up on all the boards about people that he'd like to beat. I think he's on this board.

dude in my town i went to school with.we both had trucks in high scool mine sported a built 454 with t-400 and total back half...his stock gm goodwrench 350 and t-350 tranny..id give him carlenths for a head start...now he has an ss and i got a z---ive smoked him 5 times once after every new mod..im sure ill smoke him again, like always..icant lose or i give up the title belt.
my arch nemisis that I mentioned before with the nsx that he wrapped around a tree, now has a EVO. I was missinformed before about him having an integra. If I'm right about this guy his is 4wheeldrive and their power drops off after 90mph, right? I bet this one has better take off than that nsx he had
