29 this month.....:toetap:
28 days in common years and 29 days in leap years, with the quadrennial 29th day being called the leap day
Gotta edit the thread title to make it 'legal'
Fixed :D
So this train is already off to a :gay: start. Thanks Scott
Holy Mother of God I've seen a miracle......Worked on 2 F bodies today and the Grand Prix and didn't have to give a blood sacrifice.... :faint:
I couldn't stay up to see the super bowl 1:30 am comes quick but watched all the highlights looks like the Chiefs got themselves a good franchise, Superbowl belongs to the AFC.
That last touchdown last night cost me $200 on Super Bowl squares. Otherwise I'm happy with the outcome of the game. Happy February everyone.
With Carpy and Tim it's always Gay....
"Blizzard" tomorrow. 6-8" possible, schools already sending out closure notices. Not that it matters, both of my boys are out sick right now. Might get a day off work with them tomorrow though.
You can keep that shit up there, thank you.....
I was hoping it would fizzle out, but so far the prediction models are holding up... so glad I have the Toyota to drive because I'm not getting the SS out in that shit. T/A won't be out either if I take off tomorrow, I'll just take her to work.
Anyone else want to point out the grammatical error in the thread title? No? Just me?
Hey Zack check out this thread, you may be able to give some input since you have a 2nd gen

Weather has been whack lately. From 3" of snow and ice on Sunday to mid 50 degree temps on Monday, back to more snow and ice tonight. On another note, I tried to crash the 'Burb Sunday evening. About a mile of so south of the NY border on a gentle left hand corner the back end tried to come around when the road went from snow covered to ice. Back end went right, then left, then right again before I straightened it out. Kind of a fun ride.
That's what you get for driving by without stopping in.
What dumbass invites a lawyer over? They'll rob you blind. They wear special clothes and have pockets sewn all over them. Some will fit a 55" tv and you'll never know it's there.
No one said anything about in-laws.
See I would never admit I had a Lawyer for an In-Law......
13* this morning snow and ice showers all day yesterday so today's a good day to stay home an drink.
:Potty: dead at work so damn bored
My neighbor is a Toyota tech. Said this came in yesterday. Highlander that's one girl ran over a piece of 3" pipe. Went through the floorboard up through the fuse box and out the top of the dash haha

Holy shit :faint:
Damn....
Also February like Tim, can eat a bag of dicks.
Seems like every other day something expensive breaks
So does insurance cover something like that?
Made chili weds. gonna use whats left and make a chili pot pie, if you never made this it's a must IMO, got up this morning 10 below perfect comfort food, better than a bag of dicks.
Since the 1st I've had 2 radiators go bad in 2 different cars, replaced the alternator on the 98 and shocks on the both birds, and then have the upper radiator hose blow off on the Grand Prix while on the interstate, and then yesterday my daughters vert up and quit working and won't start. I'm hoping it's the Ignition Control Module. Oh and had to make a repair on the control board on our dryer because the start button broke. It is financial better to buy a new dryer then it is to replace the control board. So I took a chance and took a similar button from a function we don't use and resolder it to the start button. Success for now, but now the wife is looking a new dryers.....
So you can see why February can eat a bag of dicks and it isn't even half way done yet.
It's not the chip key shit, is it Scott? I had an 89 V6 car that I put 4 starters on in one weekend (lol) thinking they were bad. Turn the key, amp gauge spike and nothing from the engine. Turned out to be a bad key.
nope, no security light.
I changed the ignition control module the coils sit on, this is the v6. I even pulled the pump out again to make sure it was working to.
After I go get a trailer to drag it home I had my wife turn the key to be able to steer the car when she turned it on out of habit and it started. I tell her don't turn it off and we drove it back home. it starts still. :wtf:
Either the pump is acting up or I fixed the ICM. or both. :dunno: the ICM on the 3800 then to shit themselves without warning.
Add one more Fuck You February list.
Went from a simple sore throat to Bronchitis in 2 days FML.....:growl: Haven't slept right in 3 days, only been getting about 2 hours of sleep at a time before I start coughing again.
corona vires
Kung flu
you laugh till they start asking if you or anyone you know have been to Asia in the last 3 months...
Looks like i gotta stop picking up chicks at the airport then dammit man. https://i.imgur.com/BxFgDgg.gif
Flu B is running rampant through my house right now, lots of puking. My youngest is having the worst time of us all so far.
Derp er der
Not sure what my boss is saying here...
Slides a note on my desk saying go home, your scarring the rest of the office with your coughing....
:nilly:
Running on steroids, cough syrup and anger. Fwak this Bronchitis.
Manager here is a mouth breathing moron. Complains about parts quality issues yet only orders from Pep Boys, Advance or Vatozone
Zach is gonna be on America's funniest home videos Sunday at 7. It's the bike jump video from a couple years ago.
Left the Kia dealer in July got tired of a crappy work load and watching a hack get fed
Ain't nobody got time for shipping or paying more for shipping than part. Going to federated is probably just as good of a price with smarter people and better parts hell even the local NAPA has smarter people
Have you ever used rock Auto? Why do you need smart people at a parts store? I just need someone to diddle on a computer and walk to the back and get a part. I've used rock Auto quite a bit and have never had a bad experience. Even after shipping they're cheaper than local parts stores.
I use Rockauto if I have time to wait for the parts to come in.
I do for personal vehicles when I don't need something that day. In business it's not as easy to wait for shipping. Often times their shipping will price them out unless it's something you can wait for the longest shipping option and find everything out of 1 warehouse
You also need that keyboard diddler to be smart enough to pick up the right part number
We have a rock Auto warehouse pretty close evidently. I get most stuff next day but usually in 2.
-10 again this morning, shits gotta snap im ready for the 30's
nice mid 50's today here.
I thought you would like to get out of the house like a dog in a truck and take a ride to the parts store, here's a little tidbit Tim. https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.rockauto.com
Relaxing weekend at the Beaver house. Temps going into the high 50's today.
Zap- we drove past the "Giant Dicks" sign yesterday -- laugh every time we go by.
People in general are idiots so I rarely put much weight behind reviews like that. I can tell you my experiences with them have all been good going back ~10 years. I ordered an abs sensor several years ago. They double shipped it so I got 2. I emailed them telling them and got a return label to mail the extra back. I dropped it off and then started working on the truck. Had trouble with the one I kept so I was kicking myself about returning the extra before working on it. Emailed them telling them I still had she problems. In less than 10 minutes a guy called me to say he would over night the part back to me. I ended up getting the one I had to work but that experience has always stuck with me. You guys use whoever you want but I'll stick with rockauto.
And then you magically appear
:tired:
Started working on my 5er hitch today cleaning it up. I had Reese send me all new stickers for it. Today I did a small section with a whiz wheel and painted it with POR-15. Didn't come out as good as I hoped. Can see brush strokes in it and it has quite a few air bubbles. Think maybe my first coat was too thick?? It is what it is at this point but I'm going to read some and see if I can figure out how to get that coat on smoother.
0rion do you still smoke the briskets and other meats? Brisket is just so expensive to buy nowadays.
Every now and then. It is fucking expensive. Got popular and the prices got stupid. I keep my eye out on deals when I can. I was at Sam's club last week and bought a big ass brisket tip for about $2 a pound. The tip is better than the flat anyhow. You can do a beef roast and get the same flavor. Beef ribs if you're feeling lucky....those can be a bitch to cook and have come out right.
Brisket
Gotta love how everyone in the office comes down with the flu but you have Bronchitis (but not the flu) and suddenly it's your fault......
It's Alabama....when 1 sister gets it everyone gets it.
I think its safe to say, Tims on the welcome committee https://i.imgur.com/sHg4ses.png

If I were a super hero.....that's the one I'd be.
You are a super hero sorta Tim but the cape is turned around the other way and its an apron. https://i.imgur.com/7FDCuhA.gif
