Not dead yet :p
Damn you're still around
I can't believe this site is still around either. I joined back in 1999 right before I bought my 2000 Firebird Formula. It is nice to see it is still here since my Formula is long gone.
Back from the good ole glory days

I stop in just for the heck of it now and again. Im now in a Dodge Challenger Scat Pack.
WOW.....just stopped by to see if it was still here. This was my go to site for a long time.
We're still at it. :)
We just recently got back into the game and (somewhat) active on the forums again. :) Good to see some of you originals still check in now and then
Haven't been here in a couple years. :naughtywa
Some old faces in here.
And maybe some new faces, I joined a few years ago and always come back to this site - not as often as I would like but its nice knowing I always can.
I still pop in from time to time.
Sarge still around?
He's alive and kicking, but doesn't hang out around here anymore.
I miss him....always a blast to read his posts.
I always like Sarge too. First time I've checked in in at least 3 years, maybe more. Glad it's still here, I still have Too Fast. I guess I don't go through cars much. I still have the 68 Le Mans drop top I bought in 1999 or so!
I've been around since the beginning...used to have a post count in the thousands, but that seems to be gone now... Good to see this site still alive and kicking! ...oh, and yes, I still have my '98 Z28 that I bought new in 6/98. NEVER plan to sell it! 20 years of ownership coming up in June!
Years back we adjusted the post counts to only add up in the technical sections of the forum. Ditto on no plans to sell... ever.
I remember a lot of bitching and whining about the post count change
^^ :yup:
Im still alive
Who are you again?
BWAHAHAHAA:rockon:
I'm sure you guys all miss me.
I guess that would depend on which alias you use :p
:lmao: So true...
I hold his antics against everyone I meet named Derek. If someone says "hi....I'm Derek." I immediately think " piece of shit". :lmao:
Still here too ... But, have not posted for a while. Always a hoot around here. I think I left to shop eBay for a while. Got into trouble. Now I have 4 Vettes and 2 Birds. Have been member since 1998 when I bought my first Bird. Account doesn't show that though.
Presently, replacing water pump at 105K on my WS6
Took C6 and C7 out for a ride yesterday. I love all my cars.
When C7 shifts it is like hitting the sound barrier. KaBoom KaBoom KaBoom
Love this site as long as you keep the BS down to a roar.
 Nice to see some old members checking in :)
Agree. So many memories over the years. Good to see some familiar names back on the site.
yeah.....except for Derek.
just dropped by myself after a few years. Still have the 99 T/A. Still bringing smiles.
The thing I love about the WS6 is the only thing I have had to replace after 105K is the passenger door panel (cracked) and a water pump. Otherwise, a perfect 4 seat sports car.
My 98 Formula only has 54K and hasn't had a problem yet. Well, except a twisted transmission input shaft, blown clutch and crank replacement due to the supercharger.... lol... All part of modding I suspect.
:drivin:
Surprised this place is still here also. Miss my 98z every now and again.
I remember when i joined KAGE SS was getting banned anyone remember that?
I think that was before my time :hmm:
I remember him.
Popping in.
Im checking in...been FOREVER
Popping in. I think I'm still alive and kicking.
Good to see a lot of familiar names still here. Life has pretty much pulled me from all Forums these days.
Member Th4 and I have a beautiful 16 month old daughter. :mommy:
Congrats on the daughter. Want 3 more? I'm like Amazon prime....I can have them there in 2 days free shipping. :lmao:
Yay !!!!!:chuckles::bounce:
You guys crack me up... You always have.. Let see if we can start a fire and bring in some new life to the party. These cars rock and we aren't as old as the Vette guys yet. However, some of us are getting there.
182IDIE '98 Formula Procharged.... Yeah. Torque on Tap baby !!!
Joined in 1999, hundreds of posts, lost a lot during the great site computer crash purge. This was really a jumping place, I akin it to almost like a rock band, as b.t.o once sang "I know that someday we'll be gone. Was a great time. I have not dropped in here for at least a year or so. Back then, the roads were flooded with WS6 firebirds, most of course were trans-ams. Bought my 2000 WS6 FORMULA in 1999, first and last new car I have ever had. Why the WS6? Because, at the time, it gave the most bang for the buck... for $30,000, you could get a 320 h.p. modern-day musclecar. I was kinda distressed I think in the next year I think it was the Bonneville or some other family Pontiac car that offered 350 (or was it 400)? h.p. Getting passed by a 4-door family sedan with a baby seat in it was no fun.
Man, there was Trans-Ams all over the place back then. I used to make fun of their drivers, in a good sense of humour of course, that their swinging drivers would exit their cars wearing gold chains, snapping their fingers as Sammy belted out "MY TRANS-AM"! from their stereos.
All good things come to an end most of the time. I am glad to see LS.1 is still here. You newer members never got to see how crazy it was in here, but you might imagine as the old-timers tell ya the stories.
Still got the Formula! I will die in that car. Friends that are dead now used to ride with me. I remember them all, and I remember the "great ones" who frequently were on this site.
My Formula can still kick butt, did 140 mph a short time ago (safe wide flat deserted road), still had more...
I decry the auto makers bringing back the old classic supercar names of the late 60's/early 70's BUT SOME OF THEM HAVE 4 DOORS! DISGUSTING! But what is really crazy is that most of these cars easily whomp me.
I can only guess that a LOT of the Firebirds got wrecked, sold or whatever. Some of their new owners could not care less. That is why you do not see them here I would imagine. I cannot even tell you when the last time I saw an LS1 firebird on the road, wait, yes I did, it was about 2 years ago but was a 6 cylinder firebird. Still it was good to see it.
One thing that still pisses me off to this day, I still got the factory firebird propaganda of the day which claimed (and on the cars) that the engine was "force-fed air". HAH! Yah, sure, after it goes thru 2 hood rain baffles AND AN AIR CLEANER! We should have all banded together back then and forced a class action lawsuit for false advertising. It is a fresh air intake only of course.
To all members, the old and the new... I salute you.
mike
p.s. to anyone who has a 2002 WS6, I have a spare factory propaganda booklet for that year, if you have a 2002 WS6, let me know, I will send it to you. I just snagged it way back then, but since mine is a 2000, it does not really apply. I only have to find where I put it!
Amen, brother.
A few more years, and I am still here. Once in a while anyway. Still have the WS6 woot. Looking at headlight upgrades currently. Love the HIDs on my 2008 STS. Damn eyes of mine aren't 40 years old anymore. Or 50. Or...wait, not there yet!
I can't believe its not butter.
Does this thread mean Spaz should host a reunion
All the NJ, PA, DE, MD and some other peeps used to meet up in PA. I have pictures somewhere as broke of this. I think last time I went Spaz broke the diving board :yup:
Its fun to see some old faces ( names) around. Especially after 15-20 years.
24years on baby! and LS2.com is being moderated by dicks. So there is that.
Cake :fart:
:lmao:
First post of 2025 in AAG... I miss the old days
yup
What part of Arizona are you in? I have a condo in Scottsdale.
Still creeping around .... Whats up Ed !!!!!!!!
place was hopping good times but we all get old :sarge:
I'm 43 going on 12 most days
