...well march came in like a lion for us last night!!!
Yep, and it will be 60 on Sunday.
Tuck Spring....
Rains = Sucks
Pollen = super sucks, :unhappy:
Starts the oven/sauna seasons
I'm ready for river/lake season. I'm ready to find new sand bars and visit the good ones from years past.
we'll be doing our walleye run trip on the maumee in a couple weeks. Ready to go catch some fish. John....if your up for a 5 hour road trip meet us in Toledo for some fishing.
I'm not a big fisherman but I am a good drinker of beer.
isn't that the point of hunt/fish 'camp'?
That is a big part of deer camp during gun season for me. But during bow... I'm like a ninja. Hard to be a ninja when you're under the influence. Hell it's hard enough being a ninja when you're 6'3 and wear a size 15 boot. Ninja boots stop at size 8 in US sizes.
I was shoe shopping the other day and I had to open the box with size 17 wide shoes. Whoever has those feet, I almost feel bad for.
One more day
same here......the walleye run is supposed to be the shit. Limit is 4 a day and it's not uncommon for guys to limit out in half a day. Me.......I've caught one fish in about 5 trips up there. Lets just say I'm not there to spend a lot of time fishing. I go out for a while every time but I'm either hung over or installing a hang over.
I need a less expensive hobby.......
And more showers...
and smaller watches
It's Friday night spending it home sick for a second day, having asthma really sucks! It's freezing outside and snowing after 60's two days ago.....I NOT HAPPY!!!! Hell I run out of breath just typing that rant.....
About 16 degrees this morning and a light blanket of snow from last night. I was hoping to get some outside cleanup done at the office today... but that's not looking real good right now.
heats on in the garage this morning, rear brake change on the ram.
16 here also, have two guys cutting and jack hammering my basement putting in a French drain along the back wall to insure No water will ever ruin my upcoming basement remodel....I'm staying away from dust for sure probably go to Dads and move my new trailer around the back of his garage while the ground is frozen.
Heading into the office this morning for my usual Sunday a.m. work session. Hoping to get to some of the outside cleanup today - it was just too damn cold and windy yesterday to attempt it.
Mornin
better get the good mornings in now......never know when this bitch goes down for good :lmao:
Met Danny aka The Count over the weekend.

Cool, he always reminded me of my friend Travis. Except more successful
you were at sesame street? Can you tell me how to get.....how to get to sesame street?
Need... Beer...
This house buying thing really is a gigantic pain in the ass. I'll be glad when it's over.
You're not kidding... I bought my grandmother's house in early 2008 (right before shit hit the fan), and it was almost automatic... only thing I really had to do was show up and sign here, here, initial here, sign here, and here, and congratulations Mr. Bush, you're a homeowner.
I understand they had to make changes post-crash, but I feel like I'm Indiana Jones searching for the Holy Grail...always another step, always another surprise booby trap to slow you down.
Building is even worse the banks and Govt now have to sign off on your blue print unless your paying cash for the house. My mom loves building houses since she use to do interior design. They hated the entire process this time. Bank kept trying to meddle in everything.
Because the government is up banks asses regarding everything housing related. All the major banks were put on OCC consent orders after 2008... regardless of whether or not they created sub prime loans and other exotic products which the government blamed for the bubble(even though that was just a small part of it)... which was mostly fed created. Many mortgage companies shut down... not from lack of "good" loans but from all the BS they now have to adhere to and red tape they have to fight through to create mortgages. They literally just said "This isn't worth the money" and closed their doors. I just love it when government regulation creates bubbles in the market and then the government steps in, blames the banks and throws more government regulation at it. What's the definition of insanity again?
:woot: Had my 1 yr post op physical today. Official lost 160lbs. :woot:
If you ever have to ingest the dye so they can see your stomach and everything else brace yourself. It's nasty.....had to fight :Puke: 3x's
Congrats. What goal are you trying to reach?
To become invisible.

which, ultimately, is everyones destination
You have me beat by 4 lbs!
Love how when you microwave food one can be an artic ice field while the other is a lava flow in the same dish.
Morning peeps.
Dusted off the snowmobile, might get to ride it again this year...
You could def ride it around my neighborhood.
It's going to be 80 degrees this weekend in Colorado. It's winter.
Ended up saying No to the snowmobile. Too damn cold, and without the proper riding gear Our heads would have just frozen off.
Was 72 here a few weeks ago. It's 18 right now.

sounds about right to me.
Today is the last real coldish day in the forecast here, at least for the week. 70's and 80's coming up. Good cruise-in and car show weather.
What season it today?
For this part of AL it was balls cold last night. Same tonight mid to low 30's.
Hope this is the last week of cold till next Winter.
I have worked for my current company for 10 years... we have no corporate management in WI, it's all in other states. They forget about us. They never close our office. I see the KY office closing for heavy rain... or ice. I see the TX office closing for wind storms, I see the MN offices closing for snow storms. In the 10 years I have worked here we have closed the office because of weather 1 time. 1 time out of the dozens of foot+ snow storms. Took me 2 hours and 20 minutes to get to work on Monday. If I had known it was going to take that long I would not have gone.
I take alot of naps at work when it's cold like this.
You + work?

You should LS swap this

Well home from work tonight after winter has shown its ugly dam head once again I've had to deal with the asshole public who wants their roads cleared and open for them to fucking go to the store, restaurants, movies or where ever the hell people have to go and be in a hurry to get there....it's obvious to me not to many people actually work anymore and if it's to bad for the kids to go to school then why do you load them up in the car and head out for the day!!!!!
I do actually feel better after a few drinks but I just need to vent just ahead of another winter storm looking to hit this weekend
This damn winter weather can go suck it. This weekend its supposed to be warmer but predictions of rain for Saturday and then it will be cooler Sunday.
A good friend of mine who I helped train and develop in the past has a job opening and Sarah really wants on with them. So she bet me that if I could get her an interview with them that led to a job she would help pay for the next fun car I get. She knows I want a new 1LE camaro bad so she did this thinking I wouldn't follow through. Her father promises her a lot of times to help her with things like this since between his wife and him they know half of the major players in couple industries in this area. I'm a lot like him so she thinks ill just keep pushing it off like he does. Wrong incentive thinking that. Took me just a few days. She now has an interview. Now shes worried that if she takes the job ill run out and buy a new car. I'm having fun with this for a while.
In other news I got bitched at when she realized that I just bought a ton of new tools. Got an air compressor and went a little nuts buying various tools for it. Now I just need a big garage.
Mornin
I was in Johnstown yesterday. Weather sucked.

Hopefully you abided by PA's state law. It's required to drink beer in a busted ass truck from the 70's or 80's then drive from bar to bar throwing bottles at road signs. If you can't do that they do allow you to just grow a ratty beard and wear a flannel shirt and 15 year old greasy work boots instead.
Empty bottles? Nope, our signs are generally peppered with buckshot.
They don't get the shotguns out until the beer is all gone
Woo hoo. Cable company was just here and changed out our cable modem. So much better...
About time for shutdown. Was out way past my bedtime last night.
This happened recently tonight

Impressive. I kept waiting for the ass end to come out and a big crash on the ride home.
It's not a Mustang
Headed to The Big Easy.

Headed to the garage. Tractors rear tires and wheels need some attention. After running them 'flat' for 2 years or so I need to pull the tires off the rims and either replace valve stems or inner tubes. The calcium that's in them rotted the valve core out so all the air leaked out, and the cap on the stem/tube held the liquid in for this long.
My only fear is the sidewalls of the tires tearing since they're so old (late '80's early '90's). If they do, I'm on the hunt for some odd size truck tires to replace them. They're 29/12.00/15 tires, so they're short, fat and wide. They make a suitable replacement, but at ~$500 a pair, I don't want to buy them anytime soon.
not too many tractors out there sporting 275/60/15 radial t/as lol...
http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3...psoxuvuaik.jpg
so much PA in that picture
It may be Pennsyltucky of me to run car tires, but half the farm tractors and implements around are doing the same, so around here nobody will think twice.
Besides, They go well with the skull shift knob.
maybe under the edge of the steering wheel I might see the beer holder? But I know any tractor sold in PA comes standard with a gun rack and beer holder. I'm not seeing a gun rack for sure. I also thought wheel weights were standard in PA for mowing the side of the mountain.
If I swap out the Hoosiers this year do you want them for the tractor?
Anyone have experience with Porter Cable air compressors?
Tractor Supply has this one on sale for the same price as 30 gallons
Porter-Cable Stationary Belt Drive Air Compressor, 60 gal. - For Life Out Here
no but that looks like a nice compressor for the money. My neighbor has a double lunger belt driven compressor and that thing makes a fraction of the noise my craftsman makes. If mine ever shits the bed that's what I'll be getting.
I thought the same about it.
Monday
Jeff, front runners maybe. lol
I can lock the rear differential and do burnouts....so yeah you could call it a racing tractor.
I don't have a gun rack, but I do carry a .22 with birdshot for mice. the yard is too rough for any kind of drink holder though.
does anyone see Hot Rod magazine going anywhere? my current subscription expires in October of 2024 and they just sent a mailer and I can add another 3 years for $20....
I have an 80 gallon Ingersoll Rand I picked up from Tractor Supply several years back. Checked out the Porter Cable you linked and it looks like a great deal.
our local Sears has an 80 gallon compressor marked down to $775ish from over $1000, but I can't remember the brand.
I've only seen Craftsman at Sears. But I haven't been in one in over a yr, yr 1/2 now.
Im late to this post.....:sorry: But have to say that We here are so grateful that maybe just maybe our drought is finally over!!! We have been bestowed and blessed with record amounts of rain and snow!!!!:cold: The foothills are green and the rivers and lakes and reservoirs are full...so full we have unfortunately have had some flooding and mudslides....and freakin pot holes galore....not good for our suspensions. But all in all its been a great year for water..Now spring has sprung and all the blossoms are blooming, soon all the stupid out of towners/staters(tourists) will flood our highways and crowd our beaches...but on the brighter side I can yank my T-Tops off crank up the stereo, rev my pipes and blast down the highways and back country roads and enjoy my car once again. :Patriot:
yeah....it's the out of staters that ruin California :lmao:
Cali would be better protected from Drought if they'd start building reservoirs instead of worry about a stupid fish the size of a minnow fish.
Cali is a great state. Beaches, forests, mountains, deserts.... it literally has it all. If it weren't for those damn f$%6tards in LA county, San Fran etc making it impossible to be a free person.... with the freedoms the rest of America enjoys.... it would be great.
Add in NYC, Massachusetts, and New Joisey, and the country really could be great again
might as well add PA to that list
Hi guys...
