Hey dummies it might be because of the ticket prices :dunno: and boring ass locations?
Who doesn't have $800 to $1900 to go watch a football game? Come on now lol.
No kidding. All I heard was $800-$1,900 :faint:
Include hotel, airfare, car rental, food, fuel, and beer and you're looking at....$1500-$2500 probably. Want to take your significant other too? Pffft. No problem.
KR and that's before the scalp prices start.
I can throw one hell of a Super Bowl party and my house, for what a single ticket costs.
Seriously? All of you? :rotfl: This keeps getting better and better.
Do I need to start giving out hints? :rotfl:
Hint 1: This has nothing to do with ticket prices, our economy, the popularity of any electronic device, super bowl parties, or anything else that that retarded bitch mentioned.
Hint 2: The super bowl isn't in trouble. AT ALL.
I think we're mostly just talking about the outrages ticket prices to go. That's all. Calm down
Luckily for me, I don't care what you think lol.
the superbowl has been cancelled........lack of interest. :D
prices to go to a game in general are crazy. I went to the saints/browns game this year and was completely blown away with how much it would've cost had I of had to pay for anything. I can't imagine taking my kids to a game. $1000 easily. All of that to watch a game that's better watched at home over $20 worth of wings and beer. We were in a suite which is the way to go but that's about the only way I'd ever go to a game again. $9 beer and $7 hotdogs......pass.
the vid is no longer available due to "copyright" infringement... ...well, guess I really missed out...
...never ceases to amaze me, ..the voracity of the subclass of ideological junkies who feverishly denounce fox news channel... ...not to "defend" fox news channel, ....but the "fact" of the matter is fox news channel blows the other partisan-agenda-driven cable news channels out of the water, in terms of viewership... ...and for some reason, that is a catalyst for butthurt amongst some folks...
...so what was your thread about?...
I thought this thread was going to be about #DeflateGate. Imagine my disappointment to discover that both, it wasn't and the video no longer worked.
He doesn't contemplate. He just drops the hammer
I think that's a quote from GTP's favorite movie......Broke Back Mountain. Pretty sure some hammer was dropped in that movie right?
..what's this thread supposed to be about again?...
I saw it...some Fox Business show stuck their foot in their mouth by making a somewhat big deal about how high ticket prices were, that the common person couldn't afford them, could cause it low attendance what would the SB do, or some shit like that, it was last week. Had more important stuff to do/worry about then to remember this....
Well, since apparently none of us are quite capable of understanding the original intent of this thread, I'll leave this here, because I find it somewhat more amusing...
NFL 2015" — A Bad Lip Reading of The NFL
http://youtu.be/OTRmyXX6ipU
We'll turn this back into a football thread
You guys seen this big steaming pile of shit here? Not sure if it's hit espn or nfl network because I got tired of watching minute by minute coverage of a deflated football and quit watching both a few days ago.
This is bad stuff IMO and is going to do some damage to the team down the road. This is one side of the story so that means there's 2 more sides......the wife's and the truth. I've heard for years that Rita was a bitch so it's not like she's an innocent little angel. Sean Payton and GM Mickey Loomis have issues with her which is never a good sign. That's why there was the contract scare 2 years ago when the NFL voided Payton's contract because he put in it that the contract was void if Loomis left because if Rita gets control of the team she'll fire Loomis. There's probably a lot more to this story than anyone really knows or will ever know. Pretty messed up situation though.

Nah. His little hate boner for me is funny. I like letting him go out of his way to show his displeasure with me. He doesn't disappoint.
What made the video funny was that the stupid woman doing the report failed to do even just a little bit of research before putting out a video about how super bowl attendance would be at a record low this year. Not that research was required... Common sense should have paved the way. Ignored was the fact that every super bowl ever has sold out completely for a capacity crowd. Super bowl attendance numbers are dictated by the size of the venue in which it is held.
Um, I think that is pretty obvious to all of us that even casually keep up with the sport in general, which all that replied, do, so it was basically a non discussion issue. The fun part for us was the "I'm surprised they didn't get a "thanks Obama" that you threw in at the end of your post. You never disappoint in that area, and to be honest... we love it :yup: So, that is why it was completely ignored :chuckles: So instead, we made it about the rising rate of ticket costs and left the politics out of it ;)
I'll tell you where she was wrong though, I decided to look for tickets at Ticketmaster and found no $800 tickets. Plenty of crappy seating left too. They start at around $1,500 and the better seats that were still available when I checked, were quite a bit more. Doesn't matter anyway. I would never pay that much to see a Patriots vs Seahawks game. None of us here would as far as I can tell.
Lets see... A trip to the Super Bowl or vacation in HI for two... Hmmm :hmm: I'll skip going to the Super Bowl, watch from the comfort of my living room on my 52" plasma, and maybe stay in Kahanareef for 5 days instead :) Watching 5.0 think he caught something we didn't in that clip... priceless ;)
I have been to HI and while it was fun I would love to go the SB. But I will wait for the Packers to make it back. It would have been great if they made it this year as my co-workers son works for the cardinals. She has tickets and will stay with him when her and her husband go down there and she booked the flight like 2 months ago cause they were going regardless of who went. I wish I could go to the SB for what she paid.
:yup: I think a Steelers Super Bowl 'might' have made me think about making a withdrawal from one of the ole savings accounts. Especially if there were an added bonus of friends or family to stay with. But alas... I've been forced to live on a tighter budget over the last several years and will just have to kick it in my living room. I agree though, that going to any Super Bowl would be a great experience :)
..three things I could care less about:
- the so-called "deflate-gate", ..and especially the LSM's ridiculous obsession with it..
- the super bowl
- the NFL
:D
How is this thread still alive :rotfl:
Mmm cup cakes
Cupcakes always sound good.
Give this one a shot guys. I made these a couple months back and they're fookin awesome. Very sweet, but unique and delicious. :yum:
