Your Thoughts??????????
Seems to be some sort of pay back for stepping off with the truth that some members of society need to hear.
If they had hard evidence he would have been in jail long, long, long time ago.
Janice Dickinson got in on it. So it's gotta be the truth..........
Said no one ever.
...my first instincts are some gold-digging going on here...
Nobody who sees chocolate cake as a good breakfast choice did this is my instinct
I agree with Scott
gold digging going on here.
Until I see evidence in a court of law, what can I really say?
Do I think that every single one of these women are lying through their teeth? I don't really know that either - but behind every lie, there's a little bit of truth.
I bet the women are hoping that Bill will pay them off to avoid court.
I could be wrong, but if they do go to court the women have no evidence and they will lose.
GTP must have an extremely close relationship with Bill to know whether he did or did not do something lol. Seriously though, things are not always what they seem. Anyone is capable of anything and if anyone thinks differently, you're living a very gullible life with blinders on.
With that said, I'm not saying anything either way. I don't know him at all, just what's on TV which can be taken with a grain of salt for any celebrity.
statute of limitations
if it were true, he'd be in jail...nobody and I mean nobody can rape 5-10 women like he's accused of doing without getting killed by a family member or ending up in prison at some point.
But as Timmy said, statute of limitations is in full effect and the accusers know that...no risk of him going to prison so they can accuse him of whatever they want just to try and and squeeze money out of him just because they can.

Even so, it isn't just the ladies saying it. :dunno:
I dont doubt that he had affairs...most of the big name guys do, but I find it unlikely that he raped all of these women...All the girls that Tiger Woods slept with were more than willing to sleep with him, but they could have come out and said they were raped just to get some $$$ out of it.
No telling if its true or not at this point tho...nobody really knows except for him.
When you have money in Hollywood or DC... You can get away with a lot.
I think that what most people don't understand here, is that back then, women did not come forward with accusations of rape. It never went well for them and were most often ridiculed for it and it could ruin their lives. A lot of effort went in over the years to try and change that. Many many women suffered rape and it stayed their dirty little secret that they just had to live with.
The fact that the statute of limitations is 8 years in CA, means that there is no monetary gain in civil court by coming out with this information. Some of these women had in fact accused him in the past. Some of the others are just now deciding that they are strong enough to do so and that being the victim of rape isn't looked at like you're carrying the plague as it once was.
Too many women speaking up with very similar stories to think that this is all about money, IMHO. Who knows for sure
too many unknowns in all honesty. I could argue both sides at this point, but I dont think we'll ever know for sure...Cosby wont go to court, not sure that the accusers can even try to prosecute him at this point, and even if it does have any truth behind it Cosby would probably slip them some money and it'll get out of the media.
People are talking about statute of limitations - I call B.S.
What about Sandusky? Many of his accusers were from much longer than 7 or 8 years prior.
Their evidence was heard in a court of law, and he's in prison.
That is true. It makes them feel extremely dirty. The kind of dirty you can't wash off. Which is why they need to talk to someone about it, but rarely do because of the stigma attached. It's easier said than done. Most just try to bury it in the back of their minds and it messes with them their whole lives to some degree. It's the worst kind of violation.
At first I thought it was just money grubbing.
But now I'm not too sure.
I think 8 have levied accusations now? Edit: I guess it's now 14.
When there's that much smoke, I'm thinking there may be a bit of fire.

Not to get off subject, but I know (2) females who have been raped. It's really not something they've been able to shrug off and it has affected their relationships with men, or lack there of. I can imagine something catastrophic like that really messes with your head and overall well-being.
On top of that, imagine how much worse your life would be if your assailant is a big time star known by just about everyone... That makes it big news and you are right in the center of it making a horrible situation even more unbearable. Sometimes it's easier if a few brave individuals come out, then, more will get the courage and follow. It looks like that may be what is happening here.
So...Midnight care to share yours?
They waited too long for what exactly? Are you saying that if someone keeps silent for too long about having been raped, that there is some rule that they have to keep it their dirty little secret for the rest of their lives? Is there some statute of limitations on confessions of a rape victim that I am unaware of? Keep in mind that some of these women have come forward before...
It's already been made clear that the statutes of limitations for civil as well as criminal cases for rape has passed in most states. Some of these alleged victims claim to have been drugged and raped back in the 60's and 70's by Cosby. So the idea that all of these women expect to make a buck or see him prosecuted, isn't realistic.
I'm starting to think Mr. Pudding Pop's guilty.
Been waiting for all the shoes to drop and it seems it finally has. Anytime this gold digging Bitch gets involve you know it's only about getting money and never about justice.
IMHO all she ever does is shake down rich ppl. Has she ever gone to trial for any of the cases she's involved in? Just because she's involved I hope Cosby continues to give :hifinger: and tell them to kiss his :moon:
Allred to Cosby: Put $100 Million in Escrow for Victims, 'End this Nightmare'
Allred is why I'm still have questions about this...
Things aren't always that cut and dry for victims of rape like you may think. What may seem logical to you, may not be for them. Choices can be Life altering and by putting yourself out there like that, in the courts, media, etc... can often make matters worse than the rape itself...
As far as Allred getting involved... she's a pariah. Nothing more. She is always only out for herself no matter how she tries to come across as fighting for the victim. With that said, she would have to see something in this case to personally take it, it's all about her and her reputation as a winner.
Again, I don't know and don't really have enough information on any of this to say who is telling the truth, or not. Just weighing in with what is so far common knowledge to all of us, which is all, he said, she said, at this point.
KR -I feel for victims, real ones. If they were then I truly feel for them, but they just seem to me as jaded lovers. Not one ever went to get a rape kit done.
I'm not sure what a rape kit has to to with anything. Do you honestly think that all victims of rape just pull themselves together and jaunt on down to the hospital or police station to get one? I'm guessing the percentage is extremely low on that.
I don't think you guys really understand what being raped does to the mind and emotions of the victim. Seriously.
...folks, ..lest we forget about all the falsehoods perpetrated through the LSM????...
...let's see, exploding gas tanks (dateline nbc who "rigged" them to explode), the duke lacrosse case (the "victim" made it up), ...and now in the news, a false story of rape that was perpetrated by rolling stone magazine - now blowing up in their face...
...so, maybe i'll believe the stories/allegations about Bill Cosby, "white Hispanic" George Zimmerman, Darren Wilson, the Atlanta Olympics bomber,...and the list goes on.. and on... perpetrated on the American LSM, but only after the oceans rise and overtake the coasts and the polar bears are extinct, and oil has all but run out..., you know, as was hysterically promulgated by the same bunch 15 years ago...
I have the same view on this situation as I do with Jameis Winston at Florida State University...if he didnt do it, he deserves everything he has and if he did do it he deserves everything he's going to get...
they cant and he will never be prosecuted for it if he did indeed do it.
My statement was more along the lines of karma than the judicial system or justice...as far as I know, the legal system cant really do anything about it and the "victims" cant really prove it. It has the look and feel of a PR stunt, but who knows...
Potential death by media, yet again - and guilty in the public eye, without any recourse. So much less evidence here than in the Ferguson situation, and the media has that all messed up too.
Don't forgot the loss of endorsements and the like - nothing's even happened in a court of law and won't.
