July already? :look:
I know, right?
In. So I stopped by Koons Ford in Sterling VA this past Sunday to look at a few GT500s on the lot. Nice cars...all priced a little over 67k as the final MSRP. Then, I noticed a separate sticker that stated "Adjusted Market Value + $5,000, total price 72k". GO. FUCK. YOURSELVES. Those cars should be priced in the 50s.
this video never gets old...

Someone who knows how to title this thread correctly, and I don't have to change it. :)
So this is the wallpaper background that's on my computer at work. Some lady just walked by and asked "Is that a Trans Am?" I reply no. She then states "Oh I saw the bird on the front bumper and thought it was. What is it?" It's the new Corvette Z06. "OHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat gets 707 horsepower, shows off in new video - AutoweekQuote:
Dodge just announced that the 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat will deliver 707 hp, in addition to 650 lb-ft of torque. Let us repeat. 707 horsepower. That's more than the last Corvette ZR1. More than the new Corvette Z06. Did we mention that's more than the frickin' Viper's V10?
Township meeting this evening. :(
M1 Abrams tanks have 1500hp, and can only do 45mph. I assume the Challenger weighs in around the same, so with half the HP... highway speeds are a dream.

Looks like I am going to bail from the office this morning and make a dump run. I have the remaining demolition debris from the Beaver house on the trailer and need to get rid of it.
Mornin.
Morning. :)
Mornin. One more day
Morning, on my way to upstate NY. Say what you want about the Challengers, it's a nice car. Have you seen the interiors? Chrysler is doing a great job. Ford fucked up 2015. Is it a Mustang or a Fusion? I can't tell...
Never saidSlowpar isn't making nice interiors. Reliability is a different discussion...
Hmmm looks like summer showed up on time
Today is our 15th wedding anniversary. We were married in Dawn's parents' front yard on probably the hottest day of the year in 1999. It was sunny and humid that morning so we actually started the ceremony a little earlier than planned in an attempt to beat some of the heat. Of course, I chose black tuxes for myself and the groomsmen to wear that day. :)
Mornin.
Happy anniversary to you and Dawn, Jeff!
Congrats
At least he wasn't in Phoenix :dunno:
A bonfire is dry heat too, but I ain't sticking my ass in one.
Thanks all!
Parts for the Suburban arrived today. Hope to have cold air blowing again by tomorrow.
What did you end up finding?
The tubes to the rear unit were rubbing against the underbody in the area of the rear wheel well. Just going to cap off the lines and have front AC only.
I guess I'll jump on the train this month.
:wall:
Supposed to be a cooler day. Looks like I'll be taking a ride on the mower at some point.
Just cut all the base trim for the upstairs foyer. I came up short on my paint lines by the heater so I'll have to touch those in on each side.
:tumbleweed:
Wow, you'd think it was a holiday or something around here.
Happy 4th everyone. Be safe.
:usa:
Got a couple racks of baby backs on the smoker goin' for lunch.
Getting ready to head up to New York for the weekend, so I'll be out till Monday. Be safe and have a great weekend everybody!
Now remember while you're out there celebrating all this bicentennial brew haha. What you're really celebrating is that a bunch of aristocratic white men didn't want to pay their taxes
I'm still learning this Dominator EFI, it's fairly intuitive, I think I'll be able to pick it up quickly. There's definitely some bugs to work out on the tune :) Enjoy! Many more to come over the next few weeks.

Good to hear it running, Ron. Is stuff still being installed, or are you in the process of buttoning it all up now?
Lost my comment, again.
I'm in the process of getting the wiring all tucked up and organized, ready for cage install. Surprising, didn't have many glitches with the wiring. Car started right up for the most part!
Still have the Jakes Stage 5 4L80E / D3 trans brake, MWC Fab 9", Viking DA coilovers, Nasty Nate fuel system / Fabricated sumped tank, and 8 point MWC cage...
So, yea... we're still installing  The car running(idling) under a completely new vehicle management system with a pair of turbos is a huge accomplishment for me. Never done anything like this before!
I have a Suburban that now blows cold again. :yay:

this has been the start of my vacation....
Might be time for new tractor...
Ours is now 15 years old, the charging system went out on it 2 or 3 years ago, the front axle is welded up and has been re-constructed with miscellaneous parts including a hose clamp, and now its throwing drive belts for no apparent reason.
Here's another view

At the office for a bit this morning.
Tractor made it through the rest of the lawn down at the building this morning. Probably going to replace it at the end of the season.
Thoughts on this one? Craftsman 48 Turn Tight Garden Tractor: Tame the Big Yard with Sears
Methinks that the new alternator on the Regal is not charging.
My Dad and Brother got this one and I love it, thing cuts great, turns tight, and has the option to back up with the mower on( a lot won't unless you turn it off). Home Depot sell these but I heard they are a cheaper model. They both bought from a Cub Dealer. It's also cheaper.

Not sure why it posted twice but it did
Just got home from New York. 'Twas a good weekend Tater!
That is cheaper than the Craftsman. Hmmm.
On the second test ride, the Regal alternator decided to start charging. Not a clue...
I'll just take the entire headache off your hands Jeff
Morning.
Appreciate the offer, but I think I'll just take two Advil instead. :)
Mornin.
Morning, hope everyone had a great 4th
Other than a picnic on Saturday at the in-laws' it was a non-stop work bee. Need to go to work so I can relax a bit!
gone fishing....
back to work :(

Got a wild hair up my ass and decide to buy a lightly used Corvette over the weekend. 2005 model, Red (Precision Red I think) with Tan (Cashmere?) interior, LS2/M6 with 19,8xx miles on it. Still looks new outside and smells new inside.
Lots of new things to learn about this car but it's a blast to drive!
Congrats!
You're that old now Jim?
:wall:
Took a few with the cell phone. I figured out how to post them on FB so I hope I can figure out how to post them here (later)...
And it's not like it's a girl but I do have to admit she's a sexy bitch! :drivin:

No. I can still smell BS when I see it... :sarge:
Drove the Regal today. Although it charged briefly yesterday, no output at all in the 30 or so miles I went today.
Jeff, I know of a real good shop that rebuilds starters/alternators..price is usually about the same as a autozone off the shelf ones. The shop cleans up the case...clear coats it...they do a nice job.
They are in Horseheads, off old Rt 13

Thanks, Leon. I'll keep that in mind if this does not work out. There is a wiring difference between the turbo and non-turbo Regals. Hoping that is the issue and that the one I am picking up tomorrow will work.
