this looks like the easiest week for picks so far..............
:wall:
It's like throwing darts into a cloud.
I'm going to just start picking them according to who has the prettiest uniforms.......I figure that almost guarantees 1st or 2nd place.....or a tie.
I wouldn't recommend it. The Nike uniforms suck. Maybe go for the teams with the longest hair. That might help you out some :dunno: ;)
I take it i'm the only one picking Washington this week
Probably :p
I have not completely honed in on my week 8 picks yet. Sooooo... you just never know :D

There is an illusion this week, it would seem as though many of the picks are easy.
I could still see some of these going away from the common sense choice.
I was very close to switching my pick to TB tonight.....kinda wish I would've. Gut feeling that they're gonna win this game. The only thing that bothers me is the unknown QB they have.....not sure yet if they have the ability to score points. I know their D is good enough to keep CAR to a low score if they play well.
Looking ahead at the schedule.. KC has it super easy. I think they're actually going to go 14-2, win the division, and probably be the number one seed. :rotfl:
they're a pretty decent team but I don't think they'll get past Denver in the playoffs. Denver better watch out for Indy though.
I think Denver would beat Indy in the playoffs. Kind of like Denver and Baltimore last season. We beat them in the regular season but lost to them in the post season. Chiefs I think beat Denver at Arrowhead, lose in Denver, and maybe lose to Indy, and maybe one loss in the division, probably to San Diego. The rest of their schedule is ridiculously easy
I just looked at their schedule.....I don't think it's that easy. Their first loss will be 2 weeks from now against the Bills in Buffalo ( you heard it here first) and after that 5 of 7 games are division games with 3 of those division games on the road. If anything I think the easiest part of their schedule is behind them. I wouldn't look past Cleveland either if I were them. I could see them at 11-5 or 12-4 very easily.
I'm a little iffy on the DET v DAL and ARI v ATL games, but, I'm leaving my picks be :p
damn you Philly......
For some reason, I didn't think Vick was playing this week.
Wow! What an end to a game, good job Lions
Dallas fucked me today. I hope they lose every single game for the rest of the season. losers. And nice fumble from the Browns to cost them a chance at a game they should have won
93 yds :sillyme:
I cant believe the Broncos are playing down to the level of a horrible 2-4 redskins team. We must really have some issues if we cant run away from them.
Redskins are have all but given this game away in the second half. They almost had me believing until 3rd quarter.
Mind my grammar problems, tapa talk not letting me edit today...
I expected more from the Broncos, especially with those two second half turnovers. And yeah, with the exception of a couple of good games, the skins aren't playing that well. Your O line is about to get your quarterback killed.
edit: I wish we'd quit turning the ball over. uhh...
I retract my last statement...we are horrible :lmao:
RG3 should look into filing assault charges. :hasquint:
Thats pretty funny...
I'd like to point out that Dallas choked...as usual...
Witten and whoever that dude was that was holding onto Dez Bryant should have whooped his a$$...

I'd like to know what was said.....
Damn, KR on fire this week....
Probably the same thing Terrell Owens said..."im the greatest im the greatest im the greatest! and you guys suck!!! Im the greatest im the greatest im the greatest."
I will say this...I would have probably agreed with anything he said to Romo because he is over rated...Witten, not so much...I like him.
Witten was doing his job, getting Dez away from the QB and telling him it was not the time or place.
Not arguing about Romo skill anymore. He's had more then enough time to live up to the hype. He's a slightly better then average QB, but he's also his own worst enemy. I don't know if his chocking is from the pressure of the situation or it's a character flaw. :dunno:
I realized this season that it's time for Dallas to look for a replacement QB, Romo doesn't have much more years in the NFL. He's been playing for almost 7 seasons as QB but had 2 1/2 on the bench to.
JJ - don't get me started.......I've been saying for yrs that he needs to let GM be someone else besides himself. Unfortunately for Dallas his ego will not let him. I see him on a death bed making picks for the next 2 drafts....
I think Romo is just thinking that he let this get away...everytime he throws the ball...

That play by Stafford was genius. And hilarious. Even his own team was like....wuuuut? I tuned in just in time to catch that whole last drive. Calvin Johnson is nothing short of a badass. T.O.....uhh, I mean Dez Bryant, needs to settle down a bit, you think?
That guy has some serious issues. What a dick...
Generally, just knowing that Vick is playing is reason enough for me to pick the opposing team. My mistake  Other than that and that damn 93 yd gain... pretty good week for me :D
Shut up, Terry!
Again was only able to watch the scores on that one. Probably for the best :p
Not that my picks matter for anything, but I didn't do too bad this week. Only missed two so far. And I doubt the rams will even be a contender tonight (stranger things have happened this season, however).
In his defense, the Broncos ARE a very high horse, so it's not all his fault. Also, don't kid yourself, KC is a great team and will get a playoff win this year, but they ain't beating the Broncos.
As an NFC east guy myself, I suggest you join me and just keep quiet this year. We are the worst division in football this season, so we need to stick together in our suckiness.
The reason Romo always gets the blame is because no one in Dallas land wants to believe what they all know deep down - the real problem is and always has been management, and it's not going to change for a VERY LONG TIME. Year after year more and more are coming to terms with it (my wife and her family have been rabid Dallas fans their entire lives, and are now losing interest in football thanks to their frustrations with the team), but it still remains the white elephant in the room of Cowboys fans. Dallas is doomed for the foreseeable future. So yeah, they might as well trade Romo and start from scratch...at least give the poor guy a chance at a ring. Same goes for all their other playmakers...that team is stacked with talent...all for nothing.Quote:

yahoo sports is reporting P. Manning had both ankles sprained and need a shot to play last weeks game.
Not all my fault? lol. I'll be more careful when I suggest a 2-4 (now 2-5) team isn't a good football team, and that a 7-1 team would be playing down in a competitive game with said 2-5 team. :p
Broncos are making mistakes every single week. They're good, but certainly not great yet. Hopefully they figure it out.
And on a side note... RG3 looked like shit. I cant believe anybody put this guy in the same league as Luck. RG3 was destined to have an awesome rookie year where defenses hadn't seen him or had any chance to plan for him. Now that they've seen him and his style of play has gotten him injured, he's been largely neutralized. Luck has continued to get better, and as long as he doesn't get hurt, he'll be a star for years to come.
Seahawks looked horrible tonight too. What is it with the Rams, they play the hell out of the Seahawks, backup QB be damned. If they hadn't missed that field goal midway through the 4th, they would have won. I only saw the second half of the game, but Clemens looked pretty good.
divisional game.....that always changes things for some reason. Clemens isn't their answer at QB......he's a decent back up but he had the deer in the headlights look going most of the game. I was also noticing that his passes have no zip on them. I thought they were going to pull out the win but when you can't get in the endzone that makes winning games pretty damn difficult. The Ram's D though was lights out the whole game.....they beat the shit out of Wilson.
He had some good passes and he had some pretty bad ones. They drove the ball pretty well. If it werent for those INTs they would have won.
