nice thread title from someone who's team almost lost to the frigin cowboys last week. Who lets the cowboys put up 48 points??? Got D?? I will however pick Denver over JAX this week  Not sure I'd take DEN and give up 28 points though......that's a huge huge spread for an NFL game. I'll be shocked if it gets that far out of hand. Then again......browns have won 3 in a row, jets beat atlanta, OAK beat SD, NYG and PIT are 0-4..... ect ect. Who knows what's going to happen next. You blink and JAX beats DEN????? Could that really happen??
who saw the Jets beating ATL...? I didnt..................
no one did in the pick 'em league.
I think this a season of :wtf: games......Hell the Browns could end up being the Superbowl champs this year.
Naw... Now if he were to say that Jacksonville wins this weekend and goes on an 11 game winning streak, makes the playoffs, and goes on to win the superbowl... Now that would be taking it too far. :D
Are your boys going to get it done in NE this week, even if Gronk comes back?
The Saints are for real - I wasn't a believer in their D, but I am now. They're going to be tough to beat - even if they lose on Sunday. I took the Saints as a 2 1/2 point dog.

CHI v NYG
Sunday
CIN v BUF
DET v CLE
KC v OAK - No hate on KC, they are on fire. While I hope that the Raiders can keep climbing out of the stink, I won't be overly disappointed to see KC keep their win streak going.
MIN v CAR
PIT v NYJ - Steelers have to win sometime, and Jets already got their win quota for the season
PHI v TB
GB v BAL
HOU v STL -Before last week I would have went the other way around with this. Texans played like complete ass against SF, hoping the Rams were paying attention.
DEN v JAC
SEA v TEN - Seahawks are definitely beatable, and I could see the Titans playing hard this game, but I think the Hawks will pull it off in the end. Who knows this year.
NE v NE - Come on Brees, make Belichick cry on national television
SF v ARI - Gore getting some good runs in lately. Hopefully Kaepernick can get his head out of his arse
DAL v WAS - I laughed hysterically last week on the sack/int combo plays in the 4th quarter... but they played pretty damn good most of that game. I really don't want to pick them against Redskins, but I can't help it. *Edit: Wait...yes I can. Fuck you Dallas
Monday
IND v SD
You have to keep it in perspective. This is still the team that lost to San Diego and KC, and only beat THE GIANTS by what...six? Denver's defense was completely absent from last week's game, that's the only reason that essentially TWO GUYS (Romo and Bryant) were able to rack up so many points.
Though I still expect them to beat Washington. It will probably be by 3, but a win nonetheless.
I've got a question :) Anyone thinking about picking the Bucs over the Eagles?
ssssooooo...........it looks like the Giants have taken the sAint's old play books and can be wrote off this season?
:dunno:
I kind of feel bad for Eli after every game.
I don't, he gets paid very well regardless if he wins or loses.
I picked the Bears to win, but I kinda thought in the back of my mine, "Surely Eli won't lose 6 in a row..." Then he did. At the beginning of the season, I really didn't see them being down at the bottom with Jacksonville... this season is just weird (as we've all stated at one point or another)
Breaking News:
Adrian Peterson's 2 year old boy dies after alleged beating by mom's boyfriend....dont have a link yet because it just flashed on my phone...this is the link from earlier today when it first broke, but another story just came out that the kid died...
Adrian Peterson
That is so horrible. I knew that his little boy was beaten up by his Mother's boyfriend. My heart goes out to him... So so sad.
RIP little man. Hope that garbage boyfriend gets the worst sentence possible. Wish AP could have 5 minutes alone with the bastard...
So sad. How do you go from dating AP to dating some low life POS that beats and kills little children?
How does a grown man assault and kill a 2 year old? fucking sad.
According to what I've read, the child was from a love affair and he didn't even really know or spend any time with the kid. Is that true? Anyone know? Either way, it's sad someone can do that to anyone let alone a 2-yr old.
I read he found out within the last 2 weeks. I didn't know if that was true or not though, or just some internet BS. Man, that guy has been through some terrible stuff to date. Sounds shitty, but being he had no ties at all to the kid really (if true), this probably will not affect him as badly as most people are portraying it to. Maybe I'm wrong though. He seems to always stay positive regardless of his life hardships. Torn ACL...no problem...I'll come back the following year and almost break the all-time rushing record in the NFL. Brother dies? Dad in prison? No worries. He keeps his head up and seems like a real class act to me from the interviews I've seen on ESPN. This will just be one more hurdle for him to defeat and overcome.
Houston is just horrible
Denver is playing horribly and deserves to lose this one if they don't get their shit together. And of course the Jags playing the best game they've ever played
Denver played like crap and still won by 16. I sure hope Von Miller and Wesley Woodyard comes back strong. We wont be able to slack our way through a game with Indy.
Well the Saints handed that game over.
yep....just bad play calling at the end of the game. Refs missed a couple pretty big calls during that game too. Just how it goes.

:hasquint: :rotfl:
worst part of that is he did his job.....he got the ball back twice for us and Payton got way to conservative. I'm not that worried about it really. I kinda thought going in there was a pretty good chance we'd lose that game.
Now every time anyone on the internet posts the Rob Ryan "fuck yeah" gif, someone can post this one right behind it :hasquint: :D
Saints offense blew it yesterday...Defense did what they were supposed to. Cant give Tom Brady the ball back TWICE in the 4th quarter and not expect him to score a touchdown...
So Sandy Eggo: loses to Oakland last week, beats Indy this week
Indy: beats Seahawks last week, loses to SD this week.
:umm: :rotfl:
Just as suspected lol
I made one pick this week that was my "what if/hail mary" or whatever (Cleveland over Detroit)... but the rest of them I felt ok about, and would make the same picks again. This year has been a clusterfuck so far. I seriously cant figure who the great teams are. Broncos are strong, but have serious issues on defense. Hopefully those issues are helped with the return of our best defensive players. Saints are strong, but shaky at times. Seahawks and Patriots same thing... both of those teams have laid some serious eggs a time or two.
