Harlem Shake was invented in Harlem (Kind of dance) back in the day and some retard decided to bring it back to life and make it a meme. It involves dancing by making your shoulders move but not really moving your feet.

Last year, a guy named Bauuer, or something like that, make a techno song called "Harlem Shake", from what I understand, it has little, or nothing to do with the 80's dance, just liked the name.

Early Feb, 2013, a group of Australian guys made a stupid little youtube video, doing the 80s dance, set to the 2012 song. They werent trying to get famous, but for some reason it caught on, and people started copying it....and now there are thousands.
