102.1 with a dew point of 75 and humidity of 80 %.... It was a cold day.. :D
Not nearly that hot here, but you guys in Arizona go ahead and keep wearing those temperatures as some sort of badge of honor. :p
Got up to 111 here today in this God-forsaken place..
...still took a cruise through the desert with the t-tops off though. :)
I have seen a 128 degrees here in Afghanistan, and that was last month while on patrol.
Hit 107 here today I believe. I was outside most of the day...sweating.
Typical low 90s day out here and humid as hell
65* in the shop or in the house..:D
Just back back from Vegas where it was 109,113, and 107 respectively....
Glad to be back to 97 degree temps in GA

I'd take 120 over this 100 degree 99% humidity any day.
88 degrees here in CO
I like how people say "oh its a DRY heat" like that helps. I dont get it. HOT is HOT.
Good deal man! I'll probably be leaving some of my money as well
I saw a comedy show at the Sahara last time and I laughed non-stop. I'd definitely be up for some shows this time around. One show I did see that I wasn't happy with at all is Chris Angel. I used to watch him on TV from time to time so I thought the show out there would be similar and entertaining. Boy was I wrong. I think it was rated the worst show in Vegas...and to me, rightfully so :lmao:
We're staying at a suite in The Venetian and have a pool-side cabana rented for Saturday, so I plan on soaking up some sun, drinking quite a bit, and just forgetting about all those stressful things going on in life!
If you have any other suggestion, feel free to shoot me a PM. I've only been once before and I didn't get to see too much other than just walking through all the casinos, checking out a couple clubs, and Freemont street.
It's always hotter than two rats screwing in a wool sock away down here in Dixie. It's been 98-100 with 70% humidity all week and will be until November. I don't even begin to expect it to be better.
I will take 150 over 100 with 100% humidity...
Hot enough the twins fell out my shorts and one melted to my leg!!
73 degrees this weekend in Marina right off the coast. Had to put a sweater on when the sun went down.
Umm, i'm just gonna say it without all the quoting, professional commercial roofer here. So, i apologize in advance, SUCK IT. You have no idea how hot it is. None. try sitting in the sun ALL DAY without the benfit of shade. I did 13 hours today. So, remember that when you start complaining. I apologized in advance. FYI.
quit bitching about your dry heat.
106 here today, muggy, and no wind.
dry or humid makes a huge difference, 30 degrees and humid, youll freeze your ass off, but ive been in colorado in a t-shirt with it below freezing, same goes for heat. humidity acts like an insulator, holding the heat onto you, some days its humid enough that your sweat doesnt evaporate and you just drip.
I even have days where you get out of the shower, and you cant dry off, lol
Wide brim hat, pants, long shirt, and usually a tshirt under. And then a rag to cover up my neck tucked under my hat. And sorry if i got too bitchy, just struck a nerve i guess. And i responded before I had my medicine. (Coors Light.)
i spent a summer split between de-sodding a football field, spending all day bent over at waist level in the middle of a stadium, so no wind. the other part was wearing shoulder length leather gloves cleaning commercial A/C units on the roofs of the buildings..
i feel your pain, lol
I use to weed eat a cemetery in the summer during HS, things are a lot better now :D
I beg to differ - humidity plays a huge part in how miserable the heat is once they are combined!
Lifetime resident of Alabama, spent one summer in Arizona,I'll take Az heat over Al heat and humidity anytime .the day we went to Lake Havasu it was 114 degrees and that was better than 97 degrees and 95% humidity not to mention the wind rarely blows in Montgomery,Al.when I worked at the Ford dealership,we took the temp probe from the SBDS machine and measured the temp inside the shop,it said 112 degrees! Glad I work inside now!
I hear you there. My worst day was last summer. It was 114, we started at 2 am, and didn't get done til 7 that night. Not my longest day, but def my longest day in the heat. I dont put on hot tar anymore, but if i did, 500 degree tar and the heat would be a killer. Kinda ironic, I caome from MN, and my worst two days, it was -50 both days, we worked down to -30 no questions asked. It's just an extreme. Hot, cold, whatever. The biggest prob in my slice of the trade is the reflectivity that my new roofing has. The sunburn you can't cover up from is coming back up at you from the roof surface.
