Im honestly considering buying a pair. Iv seen many youtube videos and they all claim they are very good. The only two bad things about these are 1) They run on battery 2) Iv heard that the sound "leaks" out of them when you crank up the volume.
Does any1 here own these? I got a nice surprise when I was cleaning through my drawer and came across an envelope with $1000 in it. (Must have kept it there and forgot cuz the paper of the envelope was tearing) :bravo:

I thought this thread was about famed rap artist, Dr. Dre, coming out with some fresh new beats. I am disappoint.
Those things are way too expensive for my taste. They're really good headphones, but they're way overpriced. I would never pay $300 for a set of headphones unless I was an actual DJ or musician who needed them. For the average joe, I say they're pointless and a waste of money.
Not to mention if you wear them anywhere outside of your house, you look like a total toolbag. And why would you wear headphones IN your house? :\
Oh wait, these are from the famed rap artist. I am happy now.

I have a set. They sound amazing and since I travel alot they are perfect for movies and music without getting hotel neighbors mad. I would have paid 300 for them and found them to be worth it but they seem to be all over craigslist and got mine for 160$.
Noise cancellation is amazing. Can't hear anything outside of them. To the guy who made the powered headphone comment. One, the powered portion is what powers the noise cancellation feature. Two, I have never owned a pair of headphones with good bass that weren't powered. Those drivers need the boost.
As for the leaking. Yes if you crank them and sit next to someone they can be heard. Its not obnxious and is barely audible if listened to at a reasonable volume.
