Just as the title states...
I switched over to Royal Purple 5w30 synthetic, with the trustful PF46 filter. I know it was long overdue for an oil change, so I decided to give it the RP treatment. Drained the oil and found almost microscopic metal shavings:eek: Ah well, nothing I can do about it. If nothing else, the white car will become a donor car:naughty:

That almost seems to be normal with these things. Both of mine do it, very fine grey matter on the drain plug magnet. Doesn't matter how often I change the oil or how easy we drive them.Quote:

HID's for the Sonars and then a new set of jack stands for when I order my wheels. Oh yea and Z06 style Z28 badges and a spare PCM to send to Frost!

Bought an OEM CME the other day.
bought more toys for it including Chris Alston front coil overs (dual adjustable), powerbond 25% U/D crank pulley, ARP crank bolt, cool crank pulley tool, and several cans of paint for the red (soon to be black hammerstone) k-member & lower a-arms... I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but thats the big-ticket items...

ok it finally warmed up here so i jump started the old ss and took her out for a spin today. met up with a 2010 v6 camaro and almost got smoked by it. he was rite near my back end. i finally starting pulling away little by little. Dam v6 camaros are quick I can only imagine how bad the new ss will beat me.

Today I drove my pewter one after it's had a week long rest. Checked the air in all the tires, put the fronts at 34.5 and the DRs at 22. Made a HECKUVA difference in feel and ride quality! White one has been parked for around a month almost now. Gunna take the DRs off the pewter Z tomorrow (and put the stock ones back on), so I can take off two of the TT2 wheels and clean them up. I'll be sure to post some before and after pictures as well:)

I scuff-sanded my red lower a-arms (BMR AA03s), cleaned them yp and painted them metallic black . . .
shoveled out path ,to garage just to start it.wish this darn snow would quit every day for last few days wake up and there is more snow over 3 ft in yard all the way back sucksssssssssssssss bad . when is summer going to get here i need to get out with my baby?
