Ive got it on Xbox and so far, I fucking love it.
Do a lot of hunting in singleplayer. It will help your marksmanship a LOT.
Game is bad ass.

i love the game. the only thing i dont like is that the guy can't swim. you fall in the water and you die. I would have thought we'd be past this since vice city. san andreas you could swim to other areas, just, your wanted level went up. They should have done something like that in this game. also, sometimes, you'll come up to a gang of people, and they'll all pull on you and shoot you and you dont have enough time to whip out your gun and dead eye them all. other than that, i absolutely love it.
Got it for 360 and it's sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!! Yea the no swimming thing is gay maybe they'll patch it. I hear online is pretty sweet too.
how is online play?
ive read about patches. will they work for ps3? i also noticed the cheat option on the menu, so im sure it'll get a lil more fun when they comeout with cheats

online is fun, but I haven't figured out what you do just yet. Looks like you can go hunting or raid bandit forts. I've been running those solo as most people run up and shoot you in the back it seems. Really seems to be missing stores. It would be nice to keep the money and purchase weapons. Not sure where to get the cool free roam guns. Then you can go to a marker and join multiplayer games if you don't want to free roam.
I think you have to earn the guns in multiplayer by levelingQuote:

i accidentally somehow killed bonnie when i went to shoot the rope...dunno how that happend. The only other gripe i have with this game, is with the dead eye. while i was aiming for some coyote or somethin, i accidentally killed the person i was tryin to help. same thing happend when i went to fetch someone's horse..wound up running them over.
Where do you guys find the coyote's. I use to see them all the time and shoot them but I am level 3 hunter and I need to knife them. Or was it the wolf? Either way I cant find them anymore FML
wolves are all over the mexico region can barely break a horse without getting jumped by a pack
so is there any way to get the deadly assassin's costume if you didnt pre order the game? Could there be some code down the line released to open it up? Anyone know how to get to peacemaker honor rank?
for hunting, you can also go to the map and zoom out. You can find animals throughout the land, but if your looking for something specific, they have animal symbols on the map marking where you can generally find that type.
I'm going to hop online. Someone come join so we can get a big 5k bounty

I was looking at what some of the challenges are, ex- survivalist, master hunter, sharp shooter. Sharp shooter looks to be pretty tough to get through. Got into mexico last night. I noticed there's alot of...well...nothingness in the game. Not saying its a bad thing, but there's alot of areas where its just riding forever to get to somewhere. You can always stop and throw up a campsite (unlimited) and just jump to the next location in a hurry.
Meh once i got the semi auto shot gun the ganking of me was over, you can unload that thing twice right in someones face and its GG
What level do you spawn with the semi auto shotty?
You find it in the first bandit camp right after you spawn, i had it at level 4 ganking lvl 8s

I was having that issue on XBL a few days ago, probably something to do with servers.
Seems to be an issue with their servers and peoples routers from what I googled. I bypassed my router and it's fine now but the g/f is bitchin about the wifi sooo...yea they better fix that shit pronto.
