it really depends on what the car looked like before the "change".. could be a POS ...
Yeah, rotted out frame or whatever. Maybe they had a good car body and a good Blazer roller in some of those cases. But still...
why so many camaros and corvettes...FFFFFFUUUUUUU
http://www.jtruck.net/misc/4x4cars/f...hevyCamaro.jpg
92 Camaro
thats a split window corvette, i believe 63' those are very rare, thats a shame.
people that do this to cool car's shoud be shot:suicide:
'92 1/2 maybe? :monkey:
there's a lot of 80's monte carlos cruisin around here on suburban chassis with 26"s on them ... dunno if they're 4x4 though :D
gotta love the hood in STL
There was a 68 roadrunner here at a local dealership they did that too... but the guy said they made it so they could just unbolt it off the truck chassis and nothing was cut that would need repaired. I still hated they did that to it. But to each their own!
:( sad day for classic cars
theres a 1st gen firebird thats like that too, somewhere on the internet...... its really clean
Theres some locals around Yankton SD that do nothing but turn fox-bodies and such into swampers.... i used to have a couple pics of one but cant find them....
yesterday on my way through the reservation there was a gran torino on a 4x4 chassis....
i never believed they existed until i saw one at eye level in my bf's lifted truck. i was like :wtf: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then i got schooled by the black kids in my class and now i know all about lifted G bodies
I saw one in Wichita, KS. It was a 1st gen Firebird, really clean, I think it was silver. But the fact that they made it a 4x4....just a shame. I could really picture that car roaring down the 1/4 with a GM 572, drag slicks, the works, but why, WHY the 4x4 route....
This one does look kind of cool though

atleast its still doing something worthy
saw this one for sale last year
http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...DSCN0007_2.jpg
almost bought it, actually
I knew a guy that bought a 69 el camino and done that to it. That was pretty cool though and done the truck frame to work with the car body mounts. Seen pintos and vegas done, and a friend and I bough an 84 jeep eagle and done some lifting ect to it.
If you have a turd gen with rust problems just mount the unibody to an s-10 frame...
this... :suicide:

...and check out the performance mods you can get for them
Correct! I had a 92 Camaro it was a 25th anni and was the last year of the turd gens. In 1993 the new 3.4L v6 and the LT1 powered 275hp z28 arrived marking the 4th gen f-body... Off the shelf repair manuals for 4th gens all start in 93 as well:coffee:
infantryws6 was being sarcastic as always spikito/smittro
They murdered it...
