Take an Online Driving Quiz
-
-
Missed one, said be prepared to stop on a yellow when it was really stop if it is safe to do so. My answer should be right but..
-
-
I admit I only got 70%. I was a little careless with some answers, like the shape of signs. But the zero moving violations in my driving history, okay with one moderate accident that was my fault, is a better measure of my abilities.
-
The fact that Texas only requires a 70 I believe on the written/computer permit test scares me. We should have driving school like in Europe, it's almost like a performance driving school with intense car control and all.
-
-
People should be required to re-take the test periodically or at least after being found at fault in an accident. It could be a good revenue boost for the state, too. By the way, I easily passed two different official, written tests.

95% I said when merging you should be at or near the speed of traffic, the answer is the posted speed. I disagree, if you are not familiar with the road the first speed limit sign would be too far away to see it so how would you know how fast to go? It is safer to be at a similar speed as traffic.
-
-
-
95...safe following distance I safe following distance was 10 seconds instead of 3. Irregardless of whether or not I know the right answers, I still won't abide by them.
-
90%. not bad. better than the other jackoffs i share the road with.

They may have changed that. Check again.
I got 95%. Passing on the right on a mult-lane highway is illegal in many states.

I like some of Germany's driving laws:
1) No speed limits on hwys except near major cities
2) left lane is for passing only, no riding in left lane for miles on end
They have far fewer accidents then us.
-
95% I got a 100% when I originally took the test when I was 16
-
Germany seems to be a mix of cities, where people rely a lot on a safe public transportation system, and rural areas. Then probably many roads have few drivers much of the time and hence fewer accidents. Also, Germans are very internally rule-oriented.

Number 2 is the law in England as well, and also many other countries. It's just unenforceable here because you have too many dumb fucks who take "the land of the free" too seriously and use whatever lane for whatever they want instead of using common sense.

On rural interstates the right lane is frequently torn up by heavy trucks.
The left lane is a much smoother ride.
Just sayin'...

I have no problem with that. The problem I have is with people who, for example, on a 2 lane highway, are driving in the fast lane, pacing someone in the slow lane side-by-side at 60 mph.

Aha. I almost swerved into a truck that was driving to my left, probably illegally. I was swerving back into my lane after somebody moved without signaling into a lane to the right when I was signaling and moving into it. So a pair of idiots almost got me killed, hence my posting the driving quiz.

10. A diamond shaped sign means:
A. Yield B. Stop C. Warning
Ooop... I guess it's warning.
Oh well.

Really? The left lane in England is the passing lane? Care to rethink that?
-
90%...missed 8 and 18. I hate it when douches stop at a flashing yellow.
-
95% missed it on the distance before you use the turn signal figured 50 feet rather than 100.
-
yea I almost picked 50 ft too but figured since you're moving 100ft does fly by quick.

95 here too. It is illegal here to pass on the right even though no one ever gets tickets for it. Plus it is unsafe doing so with a tractor trailer.

Thats the speed up slow down game. A handfull of change usually fixes that.
