Good list so far. :yup:
Hopefully Benny Parsons will be on the list as well. Rest his soul.
Its missing one thing..................
:love:TONY STEWART :luvlove:
More than likely, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Mark Martin, Geoff Bodine, Ricky Rudd, Harry Gant, and many others will make the list.
Is one of the Frances who runs NASCAR now on the list? He's a complete idiot!
Prob Bill Jr.
gotta love Bill Elliot
Ricky bobby!
Yarborough and Allison made nascar what it is today with their televised fight. There are a lot of forgotten people that should make it in before any of the current drivers make it. Alan Kulwiki is one that comes to mind for the polish victory lap. Davey Allison is another. Darrell Waltrip should make it in before any of the current drivers do.
just make my nightmare come to life..
I met him once.. and i ALMOST hit him in the face.... because I realized... that its not nice to hit a girl
That is SO :true: I completely agree; its easy to forget the legacies when we are all caught up in the now.
Next Class:
David Pearson(silver fox), Cale Yarborough, Bobby Allison, Smokey Yunnik, Darrel Waltrip
What? No Jeff Gordon? He can make left turns with the best of 'em.
Fireball Roberts....
Extra credit if you can state why they called him Fireball....
another one. I don't even think he had 1 nascar win in winston cup but had a shit ton others in other series was Dick Trickle. The only reasons I think he should make it is due to his name and the fact that he'd fire a cigarette up during caution flags and hang it out the window. He was the last of the iron men in my book. I don't even think Dale was as hard core as Tricky Dicky was. :D
This thread is startin to take me back to when CBS used to air the races on TV, then TNN(SPIKE) would run the races as well. Man those were the days. Superspeedways had cars runnin past 200mph, drafting didn't knock anyone in the walls...much, and there were NO issues with tire designs. Not much technology involved. Just build it, lap it, place, then race...and WIN.
