Original Painting of a Dodge Viper SRT10 concept
Hey everybody,... I may need your help and you, in turn, can earn yourself 10% commission on the sale if you help me find a buyer. Posting it on VCA (if you're a member) for example would be a huge help. I've already posted this in the Viper forum called "Viperalley.com"
The following is my Craigslist ad which explains my predicament.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am selling an original acrylic painting (30" x 40") of a Dodge Viper SRT 10 concept. It was painted in 2005 when I saw the car premiere at the L.A. Auto Show in 05, and it is signed and specifically dated. In fact somehow by complete coincidence I happened to finish this painting on the birthday of one of it's creators (Maybe some of you Camaro/Firebird people might know him, Jeff Y. When he was let go by GM during a time when they were diong cut-backs he went to work for Chrysler/Dodge, and was in charge of the Viper concept)! That was a shock to me, but lately I find too many of these "coincidences" in my life. It's colors, shape and character inspired me. I've had the painting hanging on my wall for some time, always reminding me of my capabilities. I never thought it would come to this, but unfortunately the time has come for me to let go. It is my pride and joy, almost as if I were giving up one of my children, but my financial situation has forced me to consider this option. If you are interested or if you know someone who might be interested please get in contact with me via e-mail.
I am willing to pay a 10% commission (assuming you are able to sell it for $1200.00 to cover my cost as well as your fee) to anyone who finds me a buyer. $1200.00 is my rock-bottom price. This is an original and you can be sure that I'll keep painting for as long as I live. Consider this is an investment. The painting took me a month to complete. I worked on it from morning till night on most days and missed many lunches and dinners to finish it up. It will be difficult for me to give it up, but the money will also help me survive and keep me painting.
