Body Color taillight filler panel

In general I like the way the back end of my Firebird looks, but was considering what a body color taillight filler panel would look like. Does anyone have some pics or can anyone photoshop a pic for me?
I found this pic. Ignore the silly taillight mod and it looks nice:

yes... the filler panel.. lol

Its just paint.. go paint it really fast... then install it... then take pics for all of us.. if you dont like it.. sand and return back to black..

To each his own I know but those honeycomb taillights are just as much of a trans am signature look at the bird logo itself. Dont know why you want to cover it all up.

Yeah I assume you guys are talking about the first pic of the silver car. Like I said, ignore the taillight mod. The body colored filler panel in between the taillamps is what I talking about. Not sure if it'll turn out nice, but I wanna try it. Guess I'm just bored :tired:

I don't like it. I think it only works on a black car.

I like the way the tails blend in with each other across the back of the car. Painting the filler panel will break that up, and not look as good, IMO.

looks like shit guys, reason being... look at the lines look at how the body rolls. It won't look right because it has to match the taillights. The reason it looks good on a black TA is because the taillights have gloss black as the backdrop... If you were to take the taillights apart and paint all the black arears that form the honeycome to your cars color then it would match and it look better but IMO it would still look like ass.... black is the color and that is the reason...

My wallet tightened way up all of a sudden...I don't wanna get into the gory details but I still plan on trying it at the same time I get my dented rocker panel pulled out and repainted.

that picture is great but that filler plate looks like shit... to each there own but I'm telling you there is a reason they didn't do from factory its all about making lines match and it doesn't... it sticks out like a soar thumb

if anyone is doing mods like this because they want to stand out in a crowd I can think of much better ways to show personal identity...
