I love this car, and I'm hoping for streetable mid-12's this summer with bolt-ons and some drag radials. Let me know if you've got anything for sale cuz I've got cash  and if anyone can tell me how I can figure out what rear-end I have on my car, that'd be great!

Hey 99 SLP what headlights you running? And which brand billet grill?
So far so good...... Makes me realize why we are so damn devoted to these things.... Thats an aftermarket SLP grill with the SS emblems put on there........all those are bad ass cars (PICS OF MINE COMING SOON!) 99SLP thats the first time I've seen those rims actualy look good on a Camaro...NICE :)
My fault that is definatly not an aftermarket grill......As far as the headlights go I have no idea it looks like just halogen bulbs but I could be wrong
The grille is an aftermarket SLP grille it did not come stock on that car. The headlight housing itself is the stock housing painted black and the headlights are 8500K Xenon headlights. Obsolutely love them!!! So much brighter!!!
I thought all the slp camaros came with that grill?? Mine did so I figured they all did.....anyways nice car man..the more I look at it the more I like it...not to big on the grand sport stripes but its DEFINATLY forgivable
Here ya go
Never can get em resized right
Heres mine.
These are before I lowered it and did the Whistler Headlight mod.
Ill be updating in the spring.
heya are you fred from ebay? thanks jeremyQuote:

(Mexican racing team) It’s a pretty nice set up 2 real nice lifts, they work with all Snap-On and one of their buddies has a dyno right down the street. They have an 1st gen RX7 that they run a supercharged LS1 in, if you go to local tracks around Houston you might have seen it around. The only vehicles they will work on are LS1 and he'll tell you that. Albert has an adamant hate for Ford. Usually they do the deal where you buy and bring you own parts and they will install them for a small fee. Like my bro, who has an 01 WS6, brought them a set of heads, cams, FAST TB and manifold with a fuel rail kit and a set of Eibach Springs. They installed all of the parts and didn’t even ask us for money (most likely because were like family). Now, we gave them a few hundred bucks because we felt bad leaving there without paying them something. They do real good work there. You wouldn’t be able to tell the difference from the dealership. I can give him a call and get you some more information.
a quick shot of mine by the lake....
Here's mine, please no jokes about the rims, I'm saving up for new ones.

Nice car, but the tips :nono: make it look like it belongs in a trailer park. You have to seperate them.

'01 all stock SS
'69 chevelle all stock
Please forgive me for stating my opinion here, but PLEASE take those tips off of your car and put some 3" pipes coming out of the back or get the center exhaust setup like the 35th anniversary models. Trailer Park all the way.
hey nice SSQuote:

So here are some pics of my 99 SS. Hope you guys like the pics. :shots:
Normally I reduce the size to 5x7 and then you are golden.

Here's a pic of mine from a few weeks ago. It wasn't the cleanest, but I'd just backed it out of the garage after putting the new ZR-1s on it. :D
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...4SS/Side_1.jpg
This one is last summer. It was nice and clean. I decided to mess with a buddy so I photochopped "Hoosier" on the rear tire.

Hey guys,
Ever since I saw that red/tan Camaro SS convertible in the 1998 brochure, I knew I had to have one. Finally got it. It's a 2001. It's stock except for ZR-1's, free ram air, new speakers in the doors, mallory billet shifter knob, loudmouth II, custom stainless 3" center exhaust.

OLD SCHOOL QUOTE:
Marissa: That's really, loud.
Frank: Yeah, thanks. Took the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. But it's not exactly street legal, so keep it on the down low.
That has to be the luckiest purchase ANYONE could ever hope to make. 6K miles is almost unheard of, even for a 2005 car, much less a 2001 SS. What a find. Congratulations.
i like the license plate MAXX :) i'mnot really new here, just haven't posted a whole lot. I can't wait to get it back out... i'm at school so i can't work on it, but here it is. sorry if i screw up the picture...
Luckiest/best thing that ever happened to me... The guy I bough it from was upset with the Chevy dealer that told him that 2001 was going to be the last year. Of course they went to 2002. He said he never really drove it. He had a Viper and a Z06 in the garage too. I'm in heaven...

SSnakeeater,Demonspeeding,Thor's SS, AND oNYX...........Couple of the nicest Camaro's I've seen yet.........AWESOME!!!!
nice ride's guys
Picking up a 99 Z28 this weekend, I'll post some pictures after I reach the necessary post count.
I can say it has this
black paint!
grey leather
Hurst short shifter
1-4 shift eliminator
Xenon body kit
HID headlights
6 spd
pioneer dvd/nav and about 10 speakers and amps and whatnot
3" cat back pipes, no mufflers (and omg it sounds incredible)
t tops
That's really all I can think of right now, bought it off the original owner (a female). It has 60k miles, used Mobil Synthetic it's whole life. It's in wonderful condition, and with all the money and time she's put into it, I think the 10900 I paid is a steal.
Like I said I hope to post some pics as soon as I get my post count up to the required level.
Congratulations bro. Can't wait to see the pics
That is a gorgeous car TSMOCK! :notworthy:
Heres a few of my 98.
TSMOCK, that is one BAD Camaro. It looks stock but those classics are just awesome!
Thanks for the comments guys. My dad helped me with the resto and we got it done last summer. It is pretty much all stock and numbers matching. The only things that aren't stock are the 2500 stall converter, mild engine build (425-450hp) and aftermarket speakers in their original spots.
I love it and it takes the edge off of my LM1
THOR'S SS, that CME looks sick bro. Any more pics of the whole car?
RE: 1999 Camaro SS #24
Perfect except the lettering on the air dam - a bit too ricey for me....
