I've been pretty lucky so far, but i want to go illegal on my tint, run no front plate and a smoked rear plate cover...
I'm definitely ballzy enough to do it...but can i rack up fix it tickets and not worry about it?

around here we get 10 day cards. You have to take your car in to show them you fixed the problem.
and what happens if you dont?
well if i live i will let you guys know
That's funny... I pulled my car out for the first time in a week to go to the store and had a cop drive up my ass and blare out of his megaphone, "Son, you need to remove that license cover". First I've ever heard in the two years I've had it on.
I had a fix it ticket once. For an out headlight and tail light. Could have been as cheap as 20 bucks for the bulbs, maybe cheaper. Ended up not paying it on time, then the fine doubled. Turned into $45 for each light, so $90. The day before it was due, I put it in the wrong drop box. There are 2 39th district courts by me, and I put it in the one for my city, not the one i got pulled over in (dumbass me). So, now that $90 turned into over $200. For a fucking light!! Yeah, it was my fault I didn't pay it, but damn. That was my whole tax return (i was only 18, wasn't makin a lot of money).
Oh, by the way, it was for my 1986 Mercury Lynx. total piece of crap.
Anycrap...to sum it up, they keep track.
but there aren't fines for fix it tickets here. doesn't anyone know?
Update: I got a fix it ticket again like 4 months ago, I haven't heard shit. Nebraska don't give a shit apparently :D
The reason I didn't get it fixed is because a former cop I know told me not to worry about it.
In florida I know they go on your record and your insurance company gets the info too. And jack you rates accordingly for driving with unsafe equipment.
Well I am happy I don't live there :D
Here in PA. If you are pulled over multiple times for the same thing you get listed as a habitual/repeat offender, which could cause you to loose your liscense for a while..
In Iowa there I know they keep track of fix it tickets for headlights, if you get pulled over a second time, it's a fine. First time I got pulled over I got a fix it ticket for liscnense plate cover...five times since, none of the cops has said anything about it.
If its a ticket..here anyways... you have to show up tp court. f you fix it, tell the judge, a cop will sign off on it and you'll be home free.. no fine to pay.
Fix it tickets dont mean shit here.
I think the DMV keeps track as well. I know they do here. So, when you go to register your car or renew your license they'll get you then.
I have never understood the smoked plate cover thing... Why?
