Color change!: Hugger Orange or Black?

Going to do a color change soon on my 2000 NBM SS. i really like the color i just dont feel like its me at all. i have to get it painted anyways, so its really not to much extra to color change it (have friends). it will be a show quality paint job.

i cant decide between Hugger Orange(with a satin manta and berger) or Black.

Either way im doing black wheels (staggered deep dish y2ks). and painting the lights and emblems black, with black halos

i know the hugger will be a real head turner! didnt this color only come on the 99 4th gens?

I would go hugger orange. Black is pretty common nowadays, and the hugger would be something a lil' different. I would def. give more props to a hugger camaro than a black one. :bravo:

i would do bright metalic blue like mine its rare only on the 99 and there was only1,117 of them... blue with the black.... looks real nice to me... just my opinion... that or hugger orange would be nice....

Come on, be original, ..., Do something different than the same old HO, SOM, NBM, ...

I would do a hugger orange with a metalic black stipes ...

id go with the C6 color Atomic Orange that color and black accents/rims are just sick

i really like the hugger. i just dont know how i feel about painting it that since its not a real 99 hugger (did they only come in 99 in the 4th gens). seems kinda poseur.

but since people with hugger are chiming in to say do it makes me feel better.

Dont worry that only the 99's have it. Who's is really going to know/care other than yourself. I can understand if you were trying to make a clone car like a pace car or an old yenko. If you add stripes or whatever to make it look custom instead of factory that might turn more heads.

BTW, have you thought of lamorghini orange? I searched quick for a pic but it doesnt do justice. Its amazing in the sun.

I am partial to orange, love the hugger, but the lambo orange would be sick.

orange will look good just put in a light metallic flake in it very subtle

I personally would leave it NBM. But I'd say definitely do not go Black. Then again I have a Black car & have always wanted NBM. I think one of the bright orange metallic colors would look awesome.

Another vote for Hugger Orange (if you're opposed to doing something off the typical color palette).

when i opned this i was gonna say black but then after thinking about it i would have to say hugger orange because it would stand out way more and would be something original.

ive always wondered what a flat or satin black would look like on an fbody. when done right it looks sick as hell on other cars.

I would stick with NBM, but I am biased. Also I would be wary of changing colors because you'd have to remove the engine to paint the engine bay and crap like that. If you're set on a different color, I would go for hugger orange or the lambo orange.

very aware, its a big project, but nbm is just not for me :(. i wish i liked it. it would save me mucho $$$

im pulling all the glass, the doors, hatch, bumpers, everything to paint. the motor we are removing all the stuff off the sides and painting what we need to. then re-assembling.

NBM or then Hugger Orange then some red... I like NBM, because it keeps the cops off my @ss! Then at night it looks black, I love black. I just hate all the swirls!

haha k actually ,thats the exact thing i was gunna do to my TA before it burnt :( thatll look sweet when your done
