I heard about a "Blackhawk" & saw one on ebay a few years ago.
If my memory serves me correct I think it was called a blackhawk.
But I remember it saying that model of the Trans Am came with 435 hp. This true?
Whats the stats on the Firehawk and Blackhawk & whatever other trans am I'm missing if there are anymore.
Actually what are the stock stats on all Bird/TA models.
also was a blackbird that was produced/upgraded but only 50 or so i think. that was rated at 380 hp and 400 tq.
I wouldn't mind a BlackBird. Top it off with the Breathless headlight conversion and I'd be happy not tinkering with it. I wouldn't mind Firehawk 001, I THINK that's what it's called.
Balckhawks and Blackbirds are sweet rides, but good luck in finding one. Even WS-6s are a right nut to get one anymore. No one who owns one wants to get rid of them. I know I won't get rid of mine, unless I know I can score another and make a buck out of it.
Never seen or heard of a Blackhawk but, have heard of the Carl Black Blackbird. Is this what you are referring to or is there some pic or something of it? I'm curious.
Never heard of the Blackbird & can't find pics
I'm sour I sold my TA those cars are really something to keep.
Best looking/performing/price range car GM ever made to me.
youre def thinking of a blackbird. done up by gmmg and carl black. and yes, there were some that were phase II 435hp.Quote:

this is the first time i had heard the gmmg chambered exhaust and fell in love with it. first thing i bought when i got my car.
but if you seach gmmg/carl balck/blackbird, youll find out all the info you need, youll really have t search to find anything on a phase II 435hp, but they def exist, trust me :)

Yeah, very nice car and wish I had one. Would only come out on special occasions.
That exhaust sounds like it's sick. Where'd you pick one up? Might have to look into it when i upgrade my crappy slp exhaust
GMMG sells the chambered exhaust and polished tips for around $900. I'm going to get one someday as well. I like my magnaflow but, the GMMG chambered sounds real good.Quote:

Well, if I ever stumble across one, I'll know what it is and drop a nut on the parking lot just before I make an offer.:nilly:Quote:

I found this one here, seller claims it's an "SLP Firehawk" but I thought they only came in red

That is a Firehawk not a Blackbird. Doubt you would see a Blackbird with that many miles and if you did it probably still wouldn't be that inexpensive. They had a couple of different colors for them I believe ... at least Red and NBM for sure.Quote:

I believe that YearOne still has the other one in their possession. It is hands down the rarest, and nicest F-Body I have ever seen in my life and the story of how the car ended up getting into the public's hands is unreal. If you are lucky you can find him out and about at local car shows in Northeast Ohio.Quote:

WS6's are common and cheap here in TX, even TA's, Z28's, and SS are anywhere near as much as they were a year ago. Now a Hawk or GMMG is higher if you can even find a decent one. Though I have seen high prices on the 99 Aniv. TA models.
