as soon as I can find some one that makes customs inserts I'm changing the background to the NBM and a Chrome Bird to match the car.
They look good, i like it when people put on wheels you dont see on every other fbody
what size are the tires?

I always thought that car looked Sweet with those wheels on it, gotta be a pain to polish them though. Looks especially hard on the dish by the spokes

(apparently i cant put more that 15 smileys on one post)
fuckin love those wheels, wanted them soo bad, till cheapest i could find was 1300 a pop, my broke ass cant afford that just yet, so i went with their look alike the TTM's
i had them listed for sale. a guy from 'tech' ended up taking them off my hands for my asking price.
sometimes you gotta checkout the texas for sale forum on 'tech'. even though i list on both sites, i seem to move stuff on 'tech' than on here. why that is, dunno...:dunno:
even the thread i have still on the F/S forum here, everything listed, i sold on 'tech' within pennies of my asking prices. i price aggressively to move what i have...
i'll keep an eye out for ya. if i come across anything, ill let you know. if i decide to sell mine, i'll hit you up if you're interested in them...
here's more for ya. not the best but you get the point. 2nd pic is the set i sold. pulled the tires off and sold them for $200, then the wheels for $1k. last pic is after a 2000 grit wetsand and hand polish!!!

Pics of my 2 rides I obviously love black vehicles my Aspen is black and my old and new TA are both black I sold my car to a buddy of mine and he did the 19" back and 18" thin spoke wheel from a Corvette it looks sweet as well I think I have a pic I try to load it as well
Just a note: these are exact factory replicas of rims offered from the factory back in the 70's. They called them "honeycomb wheels" and they were usually painted the same color as the car. I use to own a '77 Trans Am, and it use to take me so long to clean these honeycombs, that I replaced them with a set of Centerline Racing Wheels. They do look nice! I just wouldn't want the job of cleaning them!!

They may be one of the more overdone wheel choices but I think they look great. I'm very pleased. I ran my stock Z28 wheels for 12+ years. It was time for a change.
I was looking at Fikse FM5's but decided I could do TTII wheels, Nitto 555R tires, Hotchkis springs and GMMG exhaust all for less than the cost of just the FM5 wheels.

What is the offset on you r front and rear wheels?
What tire size? Is the car lowered? It looks GREAT!!!
^^Love those wheels! Very nice.
Anybody have any recommendations on where to get a good deal on rims/tires? Either online or in the Chicagoland area? Looking for some TT2s and a set of Nitto 555s. Thanks!

Looking very nice man!
Nice looking ride. Don't see many MRM cars.
Looks really clean
Like the wheels too
Awesome job, These are what I want for mine. when ordering, do you have to give offset details?
when i got mine they asked me. rim shopping is fun, there is lots of stores as well as web sites. i liked so many it was hard to narrow it down. good lucksend a pic
These are the rear's. I went to TireRack and spent some time with them trying to find the right wheel. They were great about pulling out rims and putting them next to the car to see what they would like on the car. I have the 17's on the front and 18's on the rear.

Anyone have a set of Year Ones Honeycomb or N90's in a 17x8 or 17x9 on their Trans Am? I am looking to get another set of wheels for snow tires and want to stay in the 17 inch range. I thought about the Snowflakes, but the one I saw in this thread looked way too busy for my tastes.
What type of wheels are these? Anybody know?

A lot of the pictures have broken links or the pictures are corrupt. I am currently looking at a pair of 17" C6 Z06 wheels for my 01 z28. I had 18" C6 Z06 wheels on my LT1 and loved them but they were 18". Does anyone have a picture of the 17" C6 Z06 wheels on their car? Thanks!

I am bringing this thread back to life as I search for a new set of rims. I plan on replacing the black rims of my Camaro since winter is coming and I don't want to deal with oxidation problems and more. I am thinking of installing Vision wheels. I am torn between getting 474 Recoil Hyper Silver or 425 Bane Hyper Silver wheel.
Seems like the 474's are almost a cross between your present wheels and the honeycombs. I personally like the 474's.....
Ooops, sorry wrong member.....
