wow i am so confused.
So if you got open headers on a stock car you'll end up losing power?
I always thought that since it having less restriction naturally the engine will breathe better but I really never thought about any "backpressure" issues!
SO really you should get keep the closed exhaust system until you put in like heads cam package? and what about turbo's? maybe this should be moved to a different thread.
:Ot::nilly:
I say let's let this thread alone and start a new one on open exhaust vs backpressure...
thanks!
Nice ride! I had a '92 Firebird in high school and college. Beautiful hunter green paint, flawless tan cloth interior, TBI V8 with flowmaster exhaust (not too fast, but nice V8 rumble). One of the saddest days of my life was when I totaled it in 2001. In my opinion, the '91 and '92 firebirds were the nicest of all the third-gen f-bodies. You don't see a lot of nice ones around anymore, someday I want to get another one and resore it.
:yup: it's stock ;)
ya.. :sulk:
my car is to.
Yeah.. wasn't too long ago I was stock running 13.4s... :)

Yes, I know it needs a drop.
Yes, I know I need a front license plate cover. I can't justify spending $75 on an unpainted appearance upgrade tho. If I see a white bird sitting at a dealership with the front plate cover, im stealing it. lol
Looks great!!!
Coming up on Saturday?
Great lookin T/A Veritbird. You ever think of painting the hood grill black to match the side vents?
