right now i am debating rather or not i want to go dual catch cans..in case i ever want to road race or autoX..the 2 catch can would never really get used unless i did go road racing or autoX so it seems like a waste...and fyi ...the ls6 step up is great..so you made a good choice anyways

so your still running the Y part of the the pcv system ? if so..then your pushing "dirty" air into the clean side and letting it pass back into your intake without going through the catch can and getting "clean" so you are lessening the effectiveness of the catch can ..if you were to hook the catch can to the clean side..you would notice that almost no oil would be in the catch can..that is why it is called clean side..i would plug the clean side back fitment personally
This is my set-up: breather off the rear drivers side, where the PCV originally originated, breather off passenger side valve cover. No oil in throttle body, idle is good. Capped off nipples on passenger side valve cover and throttle body.
hmm whats your a/f ratio ..and also have you had a tune before or after the breather set up ?
Tuned after breather set up a/f ratio 13

It is after the PCV when it's already a single hose where you are trying to catch the oil before it enters the throttle body, so the hoses before hand wouldn't have anything to do with clean or dirty.
