Just purchased this T/A & wondering if it is a real WS6. Also wondering options on it. I tried to get floormats & the dealer said I should have black interior, but the seats, carpet, headliner, & trim panels are all a tanish color. The doors have black speakers & black inserts.

My windows go up and down so slow, should I think about putting new motors in the doors?
Or should I just wait until they quit working?
If I do put new motors in, where do I get them?
most likely it's from a wire problem.
There is a easy, affordable fix ($38) that you install on the passenger window.
Simply put - GM ran the hot wire to the drivers window then over to the passenger window. By the time it gets to the passenger window it is just barely enough to let the motors work. Over time the lack of proper voltage wears the electronics out of the motor, killing them prematurely. It can also cause a drain on the drivers side to.
The company that makes the kit is called Autotrix. I can send you a link in pm if you like.
In regards to motors - get the oem brand vs autozone. Their crap dies on me all the time. My last replacement using oem & with the window fix was 3 yrs ago & still no issues.
^^^excellent advise. thats what I would do. OEM motors and the Autotrix passenger wiring kit.
For the passenger side, do the autotrix kit that everybody is recommending...I installed mine this past weekend and I love it. My passenger side window motor would only go up about half way on its own without me helping it "pulling it up while the motor was pushing it up" and now it flies up and down all on its own. Took me about an hour and the longest part was getting the wiring from the cab of the car to the door and then getting the new wiring/fuses to fit under the factory window switches in the door handle. If you can read a wiring diagram, its really easy...if not, the autotrix guys and quite a few of us will help because a lot of us have done it already.
If the drivers side is slow, you will more than likely have to swap the window motor....i've always used standard motors from parts stores and never had any issues personally...
