dumbest question someone's asked you about your car

guy in an integra with a LOUD can pulls up next to me at a light after I just blasted through a tunnel with my headers and open Ypipe nearly deafening myself and those behind me.

Is it fast?
Nope
That sucks, I hate loud cars that aren't fast, so ineficient burning all that extra gas, should've got a 4cylindar

Is the cop that dumb? when you put the licence plate in the computer or dispatch tell's you what the make, model, color, year of the car is.

Middle aged woman parked behind my car at work, her car was a white '96 v6. I noticed she kept looking at my car and we weren't very busy so i walked outside to see what she thought of it (it was like the day after i put the 69 z28 badges on it.)

i walked up and said pretty nice huh

So I just finished gassing up the TA and as I'm falling into the TA some dude asks me if my car is a WS6. I tell him it's a modified Trans Am and he looks down at me and say smuggly, "it's not a V6 is it?". My reply simply was to start the car and rev it 5500 with the cutout open :). I drove off before any reply was necessary.

got asked today if that was my black trans am outside.

but it was an older lady...im actually impressed she was THAT close

I have gotten the... "Does that have the corvette motor in it?"... too many times.

But I did have an older guy come to a stop... stare for a second... and say, "Damn, that thing looks likes it's speeding just sitting there..." (NAPA parking lot)
