Wow! That is a lot of information. I watched the installation and set up demo on e-trailer.com and tried that method when I first installed the bars. I'll read up a bit more on this tonight as I see a link to more info specific to GM trucks. Thanks!

Haha,, Newer ABS systems @ least on some trucks will compensate for the added weight when towing. Active stability can help control sway.Quote:

I have a "tow button" on the end of the shifter that changes shift points, transmission line pressures and ups the output of the electrical system. I do not recall that it does anything to the braking system from what I remember reading.
