Nice engine bay, but you're really choking your intake with that SLP Lid and stock MAF...get a FTP 104mm Lid and 100mm MAF

I like the fuel rails
Finished up today, still need to make fine adjustments and tune it.

Very nice! Certainly explains the "wheels up" pic in the Birds thread.
Still waiting for my Bogarts to show up... hopefully this week. Thanks for the help!
Thanks and your welcome. What kind of Bogarts did you end up getting?
Updated and can't edit old posts in here so:

Well guys....
perhaps nothing to get too excited about, but we have a laser cutting machine at work and i thioght i would have a go of turning out an acrylic cover for the battery! I will soon be having a go at a nice fuse panel cover too. Seems a shame to have the machine sitting idle!!
Didn't know whether to post this in the appearance thread or this engine thread...so did both!!

If the car looks as good as the motor I want to see the finished project. NICE!!!!!
Really dirty, but here are some pics after the coil relocation kit and headers i just installed. Not a lot of room under the cowl, but changing plugs is a snap now
Still have to adjust the bracket on the passenger side a bit but you get the picture

I just took my tcs out a few days ago and cleaned up my engine quite a bit from when I first got it at the beginning of this summer. It looked completely stock before except the strut tower bar and lid. Maybe next summer I might do the wire hide mod, but for now I'm happy with it.

This was one of my first pics. Obviously not the best contrasting picture, but you get the point.

alucarusz28: Looks good. I hid my cruise control module behind the PCM to get rid of the cables across the engine bay in lieu of deleting it. In addition to the wire hide mod, you can also move those ugly ground wires down lower to hide them.
Thank you. Ya that was actually the traction control, the cruise control is down by where my air pump USED to be. Haha. But I knew what you meant. Ya there's still a lot that I want to do but for just the little things here and there I think it looks way better. I took out my tcs, cruise, egr, and air. It looks way cleaner and all of that was disabled anyway so I figured whats the point in having it. Obviously some people disagree, but thats why we all have different cars. And my brother said not to take out my cruise but I've never used it and don't plan on using it. And since I plan on keeping the car for the rest of my life know one else can complain. Hahaha. Besides I like having just one cable to look at.

So why the super sneak with the Powerdyne or is that how its normally mounts? I had never seen one of those kits so I have no clue. I figure its that because of the location and the FMU. Definitely unique but the whine from the blower gives it it away all of the time or do you just say its a loose idler pulley too like me...
Thats the way it came. By looking @ the instalation book, it looks right. Its cramped in there, but it works great. Your right, I havent seen another like it on this board?
man how do yall get the bay so damn clean? i have heard some people say simple green?
Here's mine...

thank you very much..I am so happy and fortunate that the previous owner 'fell out of love' with it. He easily put $25k in this car. Pro touring suspension, new paint, wheels, tires, brakes, Long tube headers. He is a real nice guy..hangs out on LS1tech. He is really a hard core Olds guy. He is building a Pro-touring Olds cutlass (~1970) with a 6.0L. He was going to do the 403, but after selling the TA to me, he realized he missed the LS power. I am amazed at how awesome the LS engine is. My car has true duals with no cats. when you are behind it, it does not have that obnoxious smell common with older small blocks with no emissions equip. I have the best of both worlds!!
