It's a nice pump and people running it like it a lot. I contemplated getting dual in-tank pumps when I did my FI build, but figured I wouldn't be pushing more than what I currently am for quite some time and considering the cost of everything else I decided to not pull the trigger on a second pump right now.Quote:

I might but im setting up the the foundation first.
looked up quick spool valves. Found a companny that makes them. A bit expensive but from what Zombie says on the other forum, they are worth it. I figure between an oil-less turbo and a quick spool valve i need to save about $2500 at least, which for good turbos, is not out of the ordinary. If i go my normal route with good ebay turbos should be around $1200 lol

well, daddy about to put some coin down as soon as i see pics of a unit is sent to me. got a good deal and a good feeling so im gonna go wth it. its soming with everything minus the turb, intercooler, and fuel stuff but i was already working on that.
I decided to go on the "safe side" and go with a T72 turbo charger .84ar (T4 FLANGE) (Wheel diameter: 72.35 /102.86
Turbine wheel diameter : 68.40 /79.00) Twin scroll turbine housing. It seems like the T76 might be alittle bigger then what im ready for with my stock ls1. plus, finding a twin scroll just sees to be a PITA without spendin rediculous amounts of money on it, which im not ready to just yet lol. It will also give me time to pick up a QSV as will.
I figure i can change my turbo later ayway to an oilless one. im still doing a dual rear oil pump setup. so when i do i just get ride of the oiling. Apparently you still have to run water lines thru it though. at least thats what a vendor told me. WIth a rear mount im wondering if since we dont heat up as much if the High temp grease would sufice but im not anywhere ballsey enough to try it with a "1000+ turbo lol
ANywho as soon as taxes hit (should be next week) ill be getting:
-entire sts rear mount setup minus the turbo (ill up grade clamps and pump gotta get 2 anyway)
-GSP T72 turbo .84 AR T4 twin scroll
-Ractronics performance fuel pump with harness and whatnots
-On3 63# injectors (if i dont win the 72# ones off ebay lol
-Intercooler that fits inside of the foglights (NO HACKING or removals) still wondering ATI twins or a single front
-Tbolt clamps (somthing tells me to get some lol)
-NGK TR6 plugs (the IXs still good?)
-Boost, WB, and not sure which other to fill a pillar pod with. thinking oil or fuel
-exhaust wrap.. LOTS lol
-catch can that fits lol (if anyone saw my horrid attempt with the last lol)
- manul boost gauge (keeps me from fiddling with it too much)
after everthings up and running safely with oh um 4psi looking into
-HP tuners (ug still in the air on this one but we will see)
-of course a Quick Spool Valve :) still need insight on how these work off the turbo system.
-maybe put my stock manifold back on when i get back to the states lol
got lots to do and so little time lol

Wideband will cover fuel pressure so you really don't need a fuel pressure gauge, unless you really want a separate reading. If your fuel is being trimmed your WB will read a lean A/F number.
Oh ok, good to know. I was just considering that cause im getting a 3 gauge apillar pod and wasjust looking to fill it.
Ok so a Boost guage, Wideband, annnnnnnd? lol Im thinking an oil ppressure guage for the rear remote oiling system to make sure i got oil back there pumping.
I'd also be concerned with your IAT's. Not sure how you would rig up an oil pressure sending unit off the turbo. I've never personally seen it. Have you seen someone else do this? I am guessing with your set-up it would be easier as it had an outside oil pressure line...aka gets fed from the engine. Is this right? I really can't comment on that as my set-up is self-contained in the head unit itself and has its own separate internal oil system.
I opted to get a separate fuel gauge myself for the 3rd pillar. I'd probably monitor intake air temp though instead.

ok, need help and i just want to make sure im making the right decision.
From smallest to largets.
On3 T70 .81 or 1.0 AR Twin scroll cold(Inducer-70.15mm /exducer- 94mm) hot(Inducer- 64.5mm/Exducer-
GSP Typhoon T72 .84 AR Twin scroll cold(inducer- 72.35mm /exducer -102.86mm) hot(inducer- 79.00mm/exducer 68.40mm
On3 T76 .81 AR twn scroll cold(nducer- 76.71mm /exducer- 102.36mm) hot(inducer- 74.50mm/exducer- 60.56mm
all of them are decent sized, and are around where i want it to flow. all of these can mange 500 with room to spare. the 76 could get me t 800 if i wanted but the 70 can get me to 600 with no prob as well. Ive heard great things from On3 and Godspeed has been a pretty good budget turbo from what i keep reading. None of these will choke the motor and will flow pretty well mid to high range right? Im still thinking the t72 but the others are pretty close inspecs. just dont know how the differences will effect my stock LS1 that will have 60# injectors, racetronic pump, and a decent tune shooting for 500 Hp with 10 PSI MAX on stock internals for reliability and keeping pistons where they belong lol

mind you ALL of them are literally roughly $350 give or take shipping. not bad pricing at all. the ball bearing once are alittle more (600), but this is my starter turbo so this is what im going with
It sounds like you know what you want. The one thing I'd add to all of this is that I'd seriously consider adding a 'blower friendly' camshaft.

eventually ill head/cam it and get more out of it, but for now im sticking to the stock ls1. i want to see the limits of which can sqeeze out of it safely. Eventually when the ls1 let go, depending on what lets go one day, im gonna get an LS2 with turbo friendly guts. less to modify to fit and plenty of parts laying around :)
I really want the 72 but the guy is trying to squeeze 200 for shipping out of me for shipping APO. like im retarded. the On3s though are really nice looking. i think im gonna TRY to ignore the T76 lol since it might be bigger then what my little engine is ready for at he moment. at least with my current power goals. if i want 700+ then ill start looking into it.

ok, after reading more and discussing it with other members and whatnot, looks like the T76 will be a good choice with room to "grow" motor wie its rated at 700+ hp. Im gonnna try and get a larger turbine housing. either a 96 or 1.0 divided housing. definatly will invest in the quickspool valve to help with spooling.

biggest reason for the change is the rediculous shipping fee the guy with the t72 wants. 200 for shipping. freakn idiot.
the 70 is abit small so the the T76 is the best bet.
Member here just finished his T76 trim build and put down 650.
