The new funny random picture thread

What kind of snake is that? Looks pretty nasty
One big ass bull frog too!

most likely a black racer... the body is to triangular to be a black rat snake...

A common black snake to this area. Fairly heavily bodied and I've seen them to 6' or so. He's really kinda cool, and I haven't seen a mouse in my shop for a while now. Guess that explains the frog!

the also eat posionous snakes too.. so there good to have around

theres a "common brown water snake" that hangs around my house, hes about 16 inches long, non venomous.

negative... only king snakes will do that... king snakes will have white stripes on them...

black racer is a non constrictor... black rat snake and king snakes are constrictors...

Gray rat snakes will eat copperheads, but I don't know about black. I remember that kings have an immunity to the venom, but have to be careful the bite doesn't puncture an organ.

King snakes in my area have bright green stripes or spots. I know there are a lot of different kinds of king snakes

i've not heard of a king snake with spots... the king snakes in his area are the eastern king snake and the very rarely seen scarlet king...

these are real common here. I had one hanging around in my carport when it was hot. First time I saw him my heart jumped. I walked right passed him and didn't see him. When I heard something move I turned around and he was right there.

ah!!! i see what you mean now... :D i like to catch snakes when i find them.. keep them a few weeks and give them full bellies and release them back in to the wild...
