Removed the P/S cooler assembly this evening and replaced the upper radiator hose with a one piece unit. I'll mount a Derale tube and fin P/S cooler somewhere on the car tomorrow evening. Damn glad to get that thing off the car before it started leaking.
replaced my vinyl on the bird on the nose. Had a blue flame and it got lost in the paint, switch it over to chrome like the rest of the car. Much better.
I did save the bird portion and stuck it on my tool box :D
LS6 Intake manifold with new KS's, OPSU, LS6 Coolant line and rear blockoffs.
Plus oil change today.
I couldn't believe the crud under that LS1 manifold.
Car runs and drives stronger all through the range of operation.
Sold one of my girls yesterday :(
I'm always a day late with this, but anyways, yesterday I took Dragonbird to a local carshow that was raising money for St. Judes. Dragonbird won 1st in her class 87-newer GM other :)
Test fit my new radiator today. Had to do a little cutting on the bottom mount so it would sit correctly in the tray. Otherwise it was a direct drop in.
This thing is a monster...3" core as opposed to the stock 1".

Wow! Does look impressive!
Took the Great Pumpkin down to my friends detailing shop. Told her to "do it to it!" Then, after she's done, I'll bring it to my cuz's body shop to get the key scratch taken out and the "under the bumper driveway scrapes" removed. Then cover it up til it's time to drive to the Nats. :cool2:
Painted my calipers blue, also added 5/16" spacers to the rear wheels to push them out just a touch.
Edit: here is a photo of the calipers...

Finally finished installing my new Moser 9", UMI short torque arm/relocation bracket, UMI tubular upper and lower control arms, and SLP Bilstein and Strano springs all the way around. The only stock suspension pieces on the entire car are the front and rear anti-sway bar so now I can focus making it faster. Now if only I can figure out why it randomly won't start I'll be a happy camper.
