Definitely clean....looks awesome.
Very nice!!
Thanks guys!
Thanks! I try to keep her clean.
Pardon my perfectionism and OCD, but the ONLY thing I see that could look nicer is the MAF. It's just a little crooked...rotate it clockwise a few degrees and then I would be totally in awe. Still looks sweet. Love how you cleaned up the cruise control and rerouted all your wiring. Incredible attention to detail. Now I have something to compare mine to and try to make it look this good!....
Thank you! I never noticed the MAF, next time i'm out in the garage I will have to turn it a bit. I just got done doing the new head and cam set up when I took these pics so i'm sure I was in a hurry to hear it start up. :chuckles:
Definitely showcar quality!
She's a little dirty..will clean her when it stops raining later this week..

NICE...to all....btw Chris, were did you get tha oil breather cap? And to ALL> a good idea? does it help our LS`?
I think I got it from the ws6 store.com. It does help as long as you have a catch can and you will need to get a dyno tune if you put one on because it let's un-metered air into the PCV system.
Next up is a Catch can then relocate Fuse boxes and then polish Condenser, ABS Module, and Throttle body but for now I'm happy again

I bought fuel rail covers over the winter. Trying to put them on now but the oil filler spout sits under it. Do they make a longer one? Or is there some modding I need to do? Thanks for any help
The cover should set down beneath the cap. Remove the cap, tape over the hole so you don't knock anything into the engine, and then install the cover. Should look like this:

welp...I dont have a picture of it yet but I removed my secondary air system this weekend. Next step is the EGR...my car has long tubes, but they decided to leave the EGR installed for some odd reason. Next will be some polishing and then im done...should have pictures after that lol
In post #797 I'm curious to no what the pipe is by the brake master cylinder and then there is a second pipe next to the oil dipstick. Is that egr? and is it removable if so would it cause any damage? Would it require a tune and if so would you be able to get away with handheld tuner? In my opinion from what ive seen on here the motor looks so much better without those pipes sticking out and a nice wire tuck.
Yes it is the EGR and yes they are removable. If you keep the stock headers then you'll need a block off plate.
No damage.
Yes you will need a tune to get rid of the error code.
Depends on the tuner.
Yes, Most ppl delete the egr & air pump systems when they install long tube headers.
