Thanks! :D
I stopped giving myself a due date. Every time I think it's going to be done, I get more upgrades lol. With four kids, a construction company, a CNC machine shop and a hobby (cars), it get's tough finding time for it.
The motor has been together for almost a year, and now am going to strip the heads back of it because I got a set of these...

I'll probably change the cam too since the original plan was to start out N/A, and it's a huge N/A cam.
Had about 1.5 hrs to fool around with it today between the son's soccer practice and dinner

Still have to figure out the WG mounting. The turbo bracket is temporary for welding it up after I get the other side situated. Sure wish I had more time for my own build hehe.
Got a little more done today, creeping along...

Looks like a nice set up. I'm just wondering how these motors handle high horsepower. I guess you'll find out;).
That looks bad ass. Nice to see someone doing something others wouldnt normally do. There was a guy on my Montecarlo forum back in the day running a SC 3800 lumina and it would run 12s at the track, it was crazy.
a couple guys i know turboed their 3100SFI L82s a while back. they had some head gasket failure issues but i believe they got them worked out. they weren't runnin twin turbos though either. what psi are you going to run?
this thing looks outrageous by the way...can't wait to see it all finished up.
Hey looking good bro! Can you believe I havent even installed my frigin catch can yet? Been super busy but still thats pathetic. I have had new rotors, brake pads, headlights that have sat for over 6 months too. I gotta get on the ball jeez.
And did you kept the factory 3.4L oil pump, or took off the one from the 3500 ?

Sorry about the delay, haven't worked on it much lately.
11.5:1 SCR, low boost (4-10psi) and think I'm going to use a water to air intercooler.
The mains on these motors have a tendancy to stretch about the 450whp mark, so we will see.
Got to work on it some this weekend between the soccer/softball games etc (got 4 kids :P)...

any new stuff happening with this ride?
Not much since the last post. I have the passenger side header complete, just need to weld the WG pipe/flange onto it. The parts to make the down pipes and WG return loops have been sitting in the garage for a few weeks now.
I'm going to have to take a short break on it, got a car shipped here from VA getting quite a treatment, so that will be filling up the spare time I already don't have
thats cool i just hope it wasint going to be like some other ones on here and get so close and just never let us know how it worked out.
Updates?
You are my hero. Twin Turbo on a V6 Fbody. Sick. I am happy someone is doing this project because it will show that us V6 guys can have fun too.
I'm doing a single turbo on my 96' Camaro 3.8 should be done here in a couple of months. Hoping for 400 WRHP to 450 WRHP with a GT35R turbo 10-15PSI.
I'm soo happy to hear about the V6 crowd doing some mods. Makes me feel proud :)
