BTW, I installed my Spohn sway bars this morning. Very nice pieces compared to the stockers.......
Doesnt seem like it! LOL Car is transforming really quick and looks good! I'm glad u replaced the stock hood struts with the correct ones. Recently I witnessed stock hood struts pushing through a closed aftermarket ss hood it was horrible! I want to continue my rear suspension with red components also, any before and after pics of the suspension?Quote:

I really didn't think the hood struts made that big a difference, until I changed them! That being said, I highly recommend anyone with a glass hood change out the stockers.
I wish I took pics of the undercarriage when I first bought the car but I didn't... :( It does look kinda neat with most of my aftermarket suspension parts being red, same as the car. Next time I have some work done and it's on a lift I'll try and snap a few pics. :)
So far the: Lower Control Arms, Panhard Bar, Subframe Connectors, Front and Rear Sway Bars, Strut Tower Brace are all red.....

My shaker Kit from 6LE was supposed to be here on Sat, but it never shipped. It appears FedEx screwed up. I have not had good luck with mail order lately.......
Got a GREAT deal on this NIB SLP grille. Bought it used from a member of another site. I was originally going go with an SS grille, but the price was too good to pass up! :) ...and yes I had to put the front plate back on.

I finally was able to get my shift kit installed! After one place was completely a waste of time, I found a trans shop that I'm pretty damn happy with. They charged me $350.00 for the install.
I don't know how that price is comparatively, but I know the work was done RIGHT. What a difference, feels like a whole new car!
For another update, the (shaker cowl induction) kit I ordered from 6LE was damaged and never shipped...A new one was sent out and should hopefully be here by next week Wed. That's all for now. :)

To be honest, not really. I spent a lot of time at "The Grove" in my early 20's during the 5.0 days. I had an 89 LX vert with a Powerdyne. I can also remember seeing brand new five litre Mustangs on the lots. I guess I'm getting old. :(Quote:

Now, with the hours I work and family obligations, I really don't have a bunch of free time. Also, the idea of driving from the NW side of Chicago to Union Gorve Wis and beating up on the car just isn't appealing anymore.....
I just like driving it on the street and knowing the work is in the car. As I think I mentioned earlier, I'm really not that rough on the car . :yup:
Just wondered is all. I don't really "beat" on mine either, hence why it has 22K miles on it only. I'll probably be going though at some point once the weather cools down just to see what the car does. A guy my father works with rents out the track every year a couple times. I think he has the track rented sometime in August. That would be US41 Dragway though, which is 45 min south of where I am or about 2 hrs south of you most likely.
I wish mine only had 22K! Maybe when I'm a little deeper into the car IE when it's cammed I'll go.Quote:

FINALLY! My shaker/cowl induction kit from 6LE came today! I worked late and won't be off until Thursday and Friday....I'm going to be damn sure to get it on the car though. Here's a quick pic of the kit.
