It seems to me that nobody here would want a Z06 'Vette that screws with police radar.... That's just odd.:dunno:
My only critique on this though it the badges are blacked out too. That should have been avoided. Otherwise...

It's been a while for me and all I really remember is that it does something to it. I think the radar can't read the car as well because of certain properties of the paint. It's not as reflective as your typical paint especially because of the gloss coat you would normally have on a car. The air force actually made the "Stealth Challenger" with flat black to screw with radar. Nowhere close to street legal but it was cool as hell. Check it out here.
It doesn't explain much about the stealth though. But some flat black paint jobs, professional ones, may not have those properties.
-edit- Oh, I also forgot. That "flat black" is actually the same paint that is put on the Stealth Bomber. Not many people realize one reason why it is "stealth" is for the paint on it.
I would like to add though that this does not mean you can go 100 MPH and not get a ticket!!! It just makes the radar less effective, not ineffective!
that challenger was out here at the annual BOTI...car was riced to hell and looked terrible in person
